Mitt Romney: Benefactor Or Victim Of Vast Right Wing Conspiracy

A problem I've always had with the Democrats and progressives is that too many of us think we know best and can be irritatingly condescending to not only people who aren't in total agreement with every wondrous thing we say, but in many cases, irritatingly condescending to people that agree with everything we say since our thoughts are so wondrous and our minds so advanced we must treat everyone like shit.

Republicans don;t have this problem with their elites since their ideas and thoughts are so simplistic and ignorant they can't feel the elitism too many liberals feel. And this makes the right leaning voter so damn loyal while too many progressive leaning voters think voting for Ralph Nader is sending a message or some ridiculous thing. Or holding a grudge because our candidate lost the primary so I won't support the other guy.

This has been an advantage held by republicans since 1972 when the democratic primary ended up with George McGovern beating Hubert Humphrey and Edmund Muskie. Since then the only way the Democrats could win was not so much by great ideas and inspiring message, but because shit was so bad thanks to republican mismanagement that there was no way a republican could win.

The republicans are experts at taking shit and making chocolate cake out of it. Ronald Reagan is the greatest example. George W. Bush, who just enough Americans were convinced was a compassionate conservative and not the total moron and shithead he showed us he was during debates, is another great example. But sadly for republicans, good for America, they have nobody running in their primaries that not even Karl Rove could bake chocolate cake out of.

Looking at Iowa and how some votes were "lost", it means Mitt Romney actually came in second to Rick Santorum. Too bad for Rick Santorum that Romney got all the headlines for winning Iowa.

John McCain endorsed Romney but the reality is that nobody cares what that addle brained joke McCain thinks. Tea party favorites like Michelle Bachman and Rick Perry endorsed Gingrich. And these two people are idiots which gives their words great weight among the idiots who make up the republican voting base.

Mitt has a great organization and lots of money. But for whatever reason, there's always something about Mitt that makes republicans want to look elsewhere. Crazy shit is happening. It's almost as if it's designed to keep Mitt from getting a lock on the nomination, while making sure whomever charges up the polls is an unelectable kook like Bachman, Santorum, Cain or Gingrich.

Republicans are is nothing else, organized and obedient. They will vote for whomever the republican nominee is. And as of now, that nominee hasn't been chosen for them. The pot is being stirred and it may end up being Romney for no other reason that the republican elite have figured out Obama is going to win anyway and he deserves another term. Why waste Jeb Bush, Chris Christie or Marco Rubio when Rove and the right wing spinmeisters have four years to mold them into right wing deities?

Spending, Borrowing and Profiting Like Mitt Romney

My man Jack Jodell has a great post up on why Mitt Romney would be a crummy president. The guy is a dishonest asshole but is blessed with nice posture and hair.

Mitt's company, Bain Capital, does what I call "money for nothing." And ironically, while this asshole calls for government to reduce it's debt and cut and all the other stuff, he made millions on BORROWED MONEY.

The words "debt" and "borrow" have been replaced in business lexicon with the word "leverage." That's all leverage is is borrowing. So just like righties are trained to use nice words that are either meaningless, or mean something other than their traditional meaning, leverage is the word used rather than borrowing because borrowing is now a dirty word.

Just as the term "job creators" makes the deluded happy because they think what the "job creators" are are benevolent job creators, rather than what they really are is American job destroying greedy bastards that don't give a rat's ass about anyone not belonging to the country club. "Leverage" makes the deluded and uneducated to what it is feel good about it. Like it's a wonderful business thing. The most dangerous is when a company is described as "highly leveraged." That means they owe a boatload of money.

Mitt had his wealthy investors to use as collateral to borrow, or leverage, from big banks so he could raid distressed companies that still had great asset value.

In essence, companies that had fallen on hard times selling their products, but still had great asset ts like land and equipment or patents. Mitt would use his investors cash as well as all he could get from the big banks and buy up these companies. Lay off workers. Raid their pensions. Sell off the assets and if the business was a dud, bankrupt it. Mitt and his pals took their profits from asset sales and laughed all the way to the bank. And of course Bain Capital profits were shielded from bankruptcy proceedings, the sap banks that loaned money to Mitt and his company were the ones getting screwed. In addition to the banks depositors and shareholders.

Good work if you have a bunch of rich buddies to invest and make your balance sheet look good the bank you're going to use to "leverage" your investments.

And as a lover of good irony, I love that Mitt made boatloads of money from borrowing. Typical republican hypocrite. And if anyone thinks this joker or any other republican will actually stop spending and borrowing and shoving the debts up the collective ass of the middle class is deluded.

Republicans Are Whining Because They're Losing The Class War

Poor deluded whiny republicans. Their most recent talking point is accusing President Obama and others on the left of "class warfare." Of course this and their pathetic "job creators" phrase are total bullshit.

The reason republicans are whiny babies about it is because they're losing. Mitt Romney And George Bush never had to worry a day in their lives about how to pay the mortgage or electric bill. Yet the minions of Mitt are dutifully repeating this Left's using class warfare against them. Dupes and sheep is what any righty who falls for this latest nonsense from the same Rove and RNC crowd that brought us the bullshit Tea Baggers and Heritage Foundation and Cato Institute.

These republican liars push out their bullshit about people on unemployment or welfare being lazy bums who don't want to work. Yet thousands of these people are returning war Veterans who volunteered to fight wars and occupations started by draft dodging shitheads and deferment boys like Dick Cheney.

It's obvious to anyone of saner mind that the right is nothing but a small group of propagandists touting pro rich guy shit, with millions of deluded followers who will parrot anything they're told by Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity in hopes that their sucking ass will lead to something for them. Unfortunately, desperation never leads to good judgement. Desperate deluded fools are easily exploited by the right wing propagandists. They kneel down and thank Bush and Reagan for tax cuts that amounted to a few measly bucks a week for them while their health insurance becomes unaffordable and price of gas skyrockets. While college becomes unaffordable to their children they demand government keep it's hands off Social Security and we spend even more on defense which doesn't make us safer but does enrich Cheney's old pals at Haliburton.

And while all this is going on the dupes whine because a left leaning guy said Romney is out of touch with mainstream America. Oh. And by the way, Huntsman and Gingrich and Santorum have said that also. But Romney's in the lead. Huh. Anyone still wonder who runs the republican party? It ain't moderates or Jesus freaks or adulterers. It's rich guys. Just like Mitt Romney. But the dupes will convince themselves that they are in charge and Mitt and the republicans are on their side. And they will decry class warfare on their blogs. the message boards. The letters to the editor and phone in shows.

It's no wonder these dupes never tire of parroting right wing bullshit. How much effort does it take when someone is just pulling their puppet strings?

The Iowa Caucus

Sorry for my lack of posts lately. Been busy.

Sorry I have nothing worth noting about the Iowa Caucuses either. They're all liars and assholes. Newt Gingrich agrees with me.

Whether they want to admit it or not, everyone agrees with me. Good sense is my shield and truth is my sword. 2012 will not be a good year for the deluded right wing fools and their masters if I have anything to do with it.

President Obama will crush his opponent this November. Democrats will win the House. Truth 101 will continue his crusade of truth and wisdom. And drink beer.

How Obama Could Destroy The Republican Party In 2013

I've always said that respect is born out of fear. And up to now republicans had no reason to fear President Obama. They always got their way. Until now.

President Obama relentlessly drove home the message that republicans are more concerned keeping tax cuts for millionaires than middle class Americans. Which is of course the truth. And today Boehner and Cantor had to back down and the middle class will keep it's payroll tax cut.

While I never wanted the payroll tax cut in the first place, I'm glad President Obama stood up these assholes. And this should show him that they will back down. Enough of them did that there could be a rift growing in the republican ranks. And to keep it growing republicans must be afraid that President Obama will continue to stand up to them and not compromise everything away. In addition to that, as Obama's power grows, his influence among the electorate grows. More republicans in districts they think are vulnerable will start acting like Democrats in hopes Obama will not campaign against them.

All Obama has to do is win in 2012. Considering the idiots in the republican presidential primaries, that should be pretty easy. The tea bagger phenomena continues to wane. I was even thinking of running for Congress against the kook Bobby Schilling who is against taxes and government while the biggest employer in his hometown is government. (I'd do everything here as it's free and I'm out of the good graces of the democrat hierarchy who in the end will get whomever they choose through the primary anyway)

Another good thing for Obama to do to make republicans afraid is to hold off on the pipeline they want. The big thing for republicans is pipeline contractors that donate them and their pacs big bucks. So screw em and make sure every chance anyone on the left gets remind America how republicans don't care about their property and safety when a big company is trying to make a big profit TAKING YOU LAND THROUGH EMINENT DOMAIN so they can build a pipeline from Canada to Texas through it and ship the oil overseas.

And Obama could actually make the dirty coal plants that Congress directed the EPA to clean up 20 years ago to finally clean up and quit spitting tons of mercury and other dangerous chemicals in the air we breathe. And all the republican lives about lost jobs need to be exposed since we will still need power and it will have to come from a new or updated plant which will use the people from the old plants plus [provide jobs for the people building and or upgrading the old plants. There isn't much more heartbreaking than a little baby coughing and nothing we can do about it because republicans want to allow big utilities to keep spitting mercury and sulphur into the air. Dead babies are no joke. But apparently contributions from big energy companies are more important to republicans than dead babies.

Over the years my frustration at Democrats refusing to listen to me has grown to more a feeling of bemusement. Democratic politicians, once getting elected thanks to the democratic party apparatus, generally give the finger to democratic ideals in favor of corporate whorism. And with the power of incumbency, we're stuck with them.

I've had more than one democratic candidate do nothing of what I advised them. Candidates running for judge or district attorney were advised to run as being tough on crime. But don't listen to old Truth 101. What does he know. The voters want nice people who run because they love their families and would bring nice qualities to offices who's job it PUT FUCKING CRIMINALS IN FUCKING JAIL!

But no. What do I know.

Or naive candidates that believe a positive message and not attacking opponents and standing up for themselves will win them election. These well meaning, albeit foolish individuals think being able to "live with themselves" justifies losing elections to assholes is better than winning election and keeping assholes from fucking things up is a wonderful thing.

So at last night's republican debate I was heartened that at least Newt Gingrich had the good sense to swallow his pride and take my advice. He invoked the name of Ronald Reagan.

I've always said whenever a republican is in trouble, shit, whenever they're not in trouble, just say "Ronald Reagan." Even better is if you can position yourself in front of the American Flag.

In fact, Democrats, if one had the balls, should do the same thing. You can always add the caveat that Reagan was a union president and worked with Tip O'Neal to save Social Security.

Of course nobody will listen to me. They never do.

The die has been cast. The matriarch of the Bush Clan, Ms. Barbara, has set the wheel in motion. Karl Rove has been dispatched to brutalize all that stand in the way of another fruit of her loins to the presidency.

The world believed the Bush dynasty was destroyed by the failed presidency of George W. But the propaganda has done it's job. Romney has been destroyed. Paul and Bachman and Perry have been destroyed. Gingrich will soon be destroyed. Donald Trump could only get Huntsman who didn't need to be destroyed as he was a mere fly on the great wall to the Bush clan, has been rendered impotent.The propaganda of hate towards anyone not white or subservient to white has done it's job. The country has forgotten the mess Bush left. Almost half are going to vote republican no matter what. Disarray among Democrats is rampant and will cause many to stay home of vote for Ron Paul or Ralph Nader in protest. Karl Rove has served his masters well.

A divided country and divided Democratic Party paves the way for another Bush. Jeb Bush. Republican nominee by acclimation at the 2012 republican convention.

The Power of Expectoration

While watching the latest Harry Potter movie I was reminded of a technique my friend John used during union negotiations and other meetings.

Whenever a bad guy or authority figured addressed Harry Potter they would alway enunciate the "P"s and spit them out. "Harrdy ... Pawtuh." Or "Mistah... Pawttuh."

My friend John was an expert in using spit to disrespect and intimidate his opponent. And he's a big guy with a world class scowl that made him even more intimidating.

My first time witnessing John's mastery of the intimidating spit spray we were in a disciplinary hearing. An employee was told to do something that clearly wasn't his job and he was untrained and unqualified to do. The manager was a freaking idiot who decided to write the guy up and then demand a grievance meeting because he was "going to teach the union a lesson." The shithead in HR even had a guy from Chicago scheduled to meet with us.

I was the senior negotiating committeeman but John decided he would be the lead speaker.

So we're in the room with the manager, HR guy and the dude from Chicago. We get all the crap about management rights and insubordination. John calmly answered by questioning why the supervisor would order an employee that doesn't have a license to drive a 10,000lb. GVW truck to drive a 10,000lb GVW truck.

The HR guy and Chicago dude looked at each other. Then looked at the dumbass manager that ordered a guy with no license to drive the big truck to drive the big truck.

For some reason an asshole is always in charge. And if the guy in charge isn't a big enough asshole they outsource the bigger asshole work to a bigger asshole. This Chicago dude was a big asshole. He banged his fist on the table and shouted something about the help not being qualified to decide who does what. Then loudly said "If your supervisor tells you to pick up something you damn well better pick it up if you want to keep your job!"

John had enough of this asshole. He stood up and stuck his finger about three inches from this asshole's eye and thundered " I ain't pickin up nothin cept a paycheck!" And just like the villains in Harry Potter, John sprayed this asshole with about a quart of spit with each P. Then he backed off a bit. Wiped his chin with his wrist and said "scuse me."

We ended up agreeing to accept a verbal warning for the employee for calling the dumbass supervisor that told him to drive a truck he wasn't qualified to drive a dumbass so while it was technically a loss for John, he said when they all left the room that no way would they want to deal with him again. And for years all we had to do to either get something dropped or reduced was just say that John was working on a grievance. We never saw the asshole from Chicago again either.

Truth 101 vs. Griper

My man Griper challenged me to report what I would do if I were dictator. he is reporting what he would do on his fine blog which is linked at the side. I'll do most of my stuff there as it was his idea to receive another intellectual beat down from me.

Most of our debt malaise started under the ignorant trickle down policy of of Ronald Reagan. At least Reagan had the sense to see it wasn't the panacea he was told by his handlers and taxes were raised anywhere from 9 to 16 times while he was president, depending on whom you source.

The first thing I would do as dictator is what Walter Mondale said he would have done. Raise taxes. Eliminate the Bush tax cuts and make sure our country has the resources it needs to keep it's promises and responsibilities to our citizens.

The penal code would be revised so white collar criminals like the bankers that stole billions with their sub prime loan bullshit would face severer penalties than petty thieves. (I would build enough jails to hold these scumbags with the new revenues. Safety is the number one duty of government. Keeping scumbag bankers off the streets and out of our wallets is a priority.)

I would institute a single payer health insurance and retirement program so all could live securely in their golden years.

Any business that demanded bribes to either move factories and jobs or close them would have it's officers prosecuted for racketeering.

I would institute a draft.

Education from preschool through college would be a right for all citizens.

A tax on gasoline to fund development of low cost energy alternatives would be enacted. We have more natural gas than we'll ever use. The Sun has another ten billion years before going super nova. Public commuter systems would be expanded.

I would go fishing and golfing more because I would be dictator and nobody could tell me not to.

OSHA. EPA. DOE and the Dept.of Labor would do their freaking jobs.

I'd finally have that cigar and bottle of good wine with Rational Nation.

TAO would send me the damn tshirts I ordered for my brother last year.

Will Hart would stop grasping a false self image and admit he's a liberal.

Whirling Dervish's outstanding blog, Sleeping With the Devil, would get more than three visitors a week.

MadMike would stop changing the titles of the articles I submit to MadMike's America.

Our Troops would be out of Iraq and Afghanistan. A total review of where the rest or of forces are and the cost and benefits would happen.

Talk show hosts like Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and a few on the left, would have to talk through a truth o meter. Liars will be made to wear clown outfits any time they speak.

Will "The Lefty" Hart

It always pains me when good friends and allies argue. That's why I have been distraught at the attacks on fellow left leaning blogger Will "Take No Prisoners" Hart.

Will portrays himself as an independent moderate. Not to be confused with Rational Nation being an independent conservative.

Yet for all his shouts of moderation, the fact is that Will is a lefty. He's pro choice. he's against the Iraq occupation. He supports repeal of the Bush tax cuts. These are not the views of a righty my friends. These are the views of a rational, thinking person. The views of a liberal.

Will can also be naive. He wondered here where all the kooky far right bloggers were. I directed him to American Power where he could witness Professor Douglas and his link list of hundreds of fellow neocon wingnuts. Will said he left a comment but as of yet I haven't seen it on the Nutty Professor's blog. Donald Douglas would never allow a lefty to comment so even he has conceded Will is a liberal.

There is no doubt, Will Hart is a lefty who is afraid to come out of the closet. Will also supports Gay marriage rights.

We must not attack Will, but encourage him to embrace his politicality. Shout to the world that yes. Will Hart is a liberal and proud of it.

Rush Limbaugh: Animal Lover

It was a sad day in the Limbaugh household. Poor Rush couldn't get an erection again.

"I don't know what the matter is dear. I just can't get it up anymore. Shit. I'm can't even get a mental hard on for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama these days" Rush said.

Rush's young wife responded "You think maybe it's the oxycontin, fatty foods, beer and cigars doing this to you Rush?"

"Nah. Those things haven't been proven to be bad for you any more than global warming is caused by man" said Rush.

Being the understanding soul, and knowing sugar daddy Rush with his pre nup would throw her out on the street if she was anything but accommodating and pretending she dug him, Rush's young wife said "maybe you need professional help darling." Rush's eyes glowed with rage. "Psychiatrists are liberal dogs and they're bullshit too!" he thundered.

"That's not what I meant Rush. I meant maybe you should see a professional working girl who knows how to erect a penis better than I do" the young wife said. Then she added "ask the maid. She gets your oxycontin. She surely must know a good whorehouse."

Rush said "that's a grand idea honey. I'll go ask Hazel where a good whorehouse is."

"Hazel. Where's a good whorehouse. A good conservative one mind you." said Rush. "My name is Juanita Mr. Limbaugh. And there's a good whorehouse that Jimmy Swaggert goes to not far from here. They say it offers great excitement. Here's the address Mr. Limbaugh." said Hazel. I mean Juanita.

Rush quickly donned his sunglasses and derby hat and dashed off to the whorehouse that offered great excitement.

When he got there he demanded to see the head madam and ordered her to give him this great excitement that Jimmy Swaggert swore by. The Madam took Rush down a hall and into a large room and said "here is where you'll find great excitement sir." Then she left Rush in the room.

Rush looked around thinking there would be an exciting trollop in there but to his surprise the only one in there with him was a turkey. Rush thought for a moment then said to himself "Hmmm. I guess I'm supposed to screw that turkey. If it's good enough for Jimmy Swaggert."

So Rush removed his clothes and proceeded to chase the turkey around the room. it wasn't easy. The turkey was pecking and clawing and gobbling, but Rush, outweighing the turkey by close to 400 lbs. finally pinned it down and boinked the holy hell out of it.

When Rush was satisfied he put his clothes back on. Found the madam and gave her a big tip. "Thanks Madam. That turkey was the best piece of ass I ever had. And I've screwed a shitload of democrats."

A week later Rush was in another funk. He just couldn't get that turkey off his mind. His young wife, sensing Rush's frustration told him to go boink the turkey again of that would make him happy. She thought to herself that it would make her happy not having to screw this fatass. Rush thanked her for being so understanding and headed off to the house of great excitement.

When Rush got there he walked in and saw Jimmy Swaggert. Rush said "Hey Jimmy. You're here for some great excitement also?" Swaggert said "yeah Rush. I wish I was here last week though. They said some big fat guy was fucking hell out of a turkey."

Eureka! Truth 101 Is The Most Honest Blogger In The World

There seems to be quite a feud going on in our community. Octopus has jumped on Will "Take No Prisoners" Hart for listing a bunch of names. Will is mad because he's been labeled a moderate extremist by the author of the outstanding blog, Sleeping With the Devil, Whirling Dervish. John Myste chimed in and in a coup worthy of Truth 101 himself, both complimented and insulted WD.

My man Les, aka. Rational Nation chimed in also. claiming he was insulted at something my friend Shaw said about right wing tattooed neanderthals. Les has a tattoo and was insulted. Les isn't a neanderthal. Anyone that smokes fine cigars and drinks Portuguese wine can't be a neanderthal. Then again, Rush Limbaugh smokes fine cigars but I don't know what kind of wine he drinks so maybe Les is just half neanderthal.

There's always a war of googling info from Politifact. Huffington Post. Wikipedia. The Heritage Foundation. Cato Institute and other sites at Dave W's Freedom Rants and at Will's Contra O'Reilly. Will got so mad that he "patted himself on the back" according to Octo, and declared his intellectual honesty.

Truth is, as far as intellectual honesty, I'm the most intellectually honest person in the whole world of blogdom. I say everything from the heart. I only google something if I forget how to spell a name or use a picture. My life experiences provide scope enough I see no need to get help from Huffington Post or The Cato Institute. I carry the sword of wisdom and experience and the shield of truth. My dog is fat and lazy. My kids have no respect for me. My brother, TAO and Octo are the three smartest people I know. (I've never met TAO or Octo in person) My Mom was the smartest person I ever knew. Jesus that woman was on the ball. Dropped out of school and joined the Navy. Served during WWII. Helped me through high school and college. Wouldn't have passed trig or calculus without her help. Not bad for a lady with no formal education.

Les is a good guy. So is Will. Dmarks is a good guy who is deluded in reasoning. I'll straighten him out when I feel like it.

So go google and wikipedia all you want. But before anyone wants to run around declaring their honesty and scholarship, remember good old Truth 101 is and always will be the shining example of honesty and self reliance. I'm like a real version of what republicans want to believe about Ronald Reagan. They are welcome to put my bust on Mt. Rushmore.

Republicans Get Fatter After Denying Michelle Obama's Claims of Fatty Foods making You Fatter

Republicans have not only been buying gas guzzling SUV's at an alarming rate to prove their disbelief in man made pollution leading to global warming. They are getting fatter in the belief that eating high fat foods doesn't make you fat like Michelle Obama says.

Governor Chris Christie, a noted fat republican, was recently asked during his fourth trip through the buffet line at his local Ponderosa if he thought devouring 365 chicken wings was making him fatter. Christie, who was still chewing a wing while making his way through the line to the ribs and mashed potatoes, said "Mithelle Obamba ith fu of fit. Fith thuff isth good foe ooh."

Rush Limbaugh has reportedly given up carrots after learning Michelle Obama encouraged the eating of carrots as part of a healthy diet. "If Michelle Obama says it, it must be wrong" Limbaugh was heard to say. Limbaugh did add that carrot cake was not mentioned in Mrs. Obama's diet plan so he would continue to eat carrot cake. And cheese cake. And any other cake offered by Sara Lee.

Fat republican presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich, announced today that in tonight's foreign policy debate with the others he will introduce his plans for free trade agreements with Italy and France to bring more pasta and lard laced dishes to the United States while helping them fight Michelle Obama's silly diet by opening more Hardees and Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises in Italy.

Mitt Romney will be preparing for the debate at the Best Buffet along with Ron Paul. Herman Cain will be demanding the Sambos franchise be reopened to show he not only disagrees with Michelle Obama, he has no hard feeling about racially offensive names.

This Heavy D Is Not Dead

They've been calling me "Heavy D" lately so when I read that heavy D was dead I was shocked. Helluva way to find out your dead man. reading about it on TMZ. Then I saw that it wasn't me but a different fat guy. A so I pay homage to a fellow fat guy. Heavy was an artist but like me, a glutton first and foremost. A sexy glutton like me. In the proud tradition of Barry White. But those guys never had to endure the ignominy of begging or rolling over for a piece of meat or Milkbone dog biscuit. Although I have no doubt even Barry and Heavy would have done these and other embarrassing tricks for bacon. Who wouldn't?

Reaganomic, spend and borrow and tell us to give tax cuts more time because eventually tax cuts will mean more taxes bullshit, deregulate so millionaires get rich while regular people get the shaft, to make Grover Norquist's dream of drowning government in bathtub is close to being a reality. But strangely enough, it's Europe that's going down first. And that is by republican design. Evil geniuses these republicans are. And they'd have gotten away with it to if it hadn't been for that darn Truth 101!

Republicans don't care about the poor and middle class. Any small business man that thinks the republican party cares in the least about his welfare and success is a deluded fool. Anyone who votes republican on moral grounds cause they spout their family values bullshit is a deluded fool.

In the Eurozone, several countries are on the brink of disaster or past it. Greece is in default. The EU's answer is brutal austerity. No rich Greeks will suffer. Just the ones who rely on a pension or paycheck or government service. Virtually all but one percent of Greeks. Italy is in the same boat. Spain isn't far behind. And the answer will be to screw the poor and middle class. Deregulate banks so they can bury poor people in bad loans and sell these loans as AAA securities so millionaires can become billionaires.

On an even grander scale, but nothing is too big for Cheney and the republicans. This outfit manipulated America into two invasions and occupations that made Halliburton and other defense contractors billions, the ultimate goal is the destruction of China's middle class before it's gets out of hand. The destruction of the Eurozone is a major step in this since Europe is a huge trading partner for the Chinese. The Chinese middle class has been demanding better pay and working conditions. Destroying Europe's buying power would force Chinese workers to accept less since demand for their products would be lower. But the few Chinese elite will still get theirs. The rich take care of their own. Ken Lay was always welcome at the country club even after Enron collapsed.

Republicans will pull out all the stops to destroy the middle class. They make despicable charges against Occupy Wall Street protesters and infiltrate their gatherings to stir up trouble and shine a bad light on the movement which is simply people fed up with government working for millionaires.

We can fight back. We can be better organized and more focused on a simpler message. We can get all the factions of the Democratic Party under one banner. Like that will happen. Occupy Wall Street Is Looking For A Democrat That Acts Like A Democrat

But being the goofy guy who looks deeper at everything and the consequences. I am left to wonder why in God's name the Democratic Party, yes, the Democratic Party, made this movement necessary.

One party of corporate whores was enough since the republicans embraced corporate whorism generations ago. Regualr working people had a friend in the Democratic Party. Then for whatever reason, corporate money and propaganda maybe, the Democrtatic Party became the other party of big business. Since Reagan the assault on unions and workers, workplace safety and American job security has been damn near ignored by the Democtratic Party. Being a union man or woman is now something far too many union men and women are afraid or ashamed to tell the world they are now. Nobody is willing to stand up and tell the right wing parrots to piss off when they attack people who only want security and decent benefits so they can take care of their families. We get called socialists and commies and America haters. While the Koch brothers and their propagandists work to convince America we are evil and they are the ones that care about them. All the while donating huge sums of money to right wing candidates that will make sure government works for the most wealthy and powerful while turning a blind eye to the misery heaped upon Working Americans by banks allowed to become too big to fail. By pension funds being raided by companies that then go bankrupt or sell out, screwing workers out of the retirement security they were promised.

Thousands, soon to be tens of thousands, and hopefully millions soon, will be joining Occupy Wall Street rallies all over the world. I hope to be attending one or more soon. And we all have something to say. Our kids are graduating from high school and college with zero job prospects. Congress is talking about cutting Social Security and Medicare. Two government programs that work for Christ's sake. programs that we all paid into on the promise they would be there when we need them. Our leaders say on one hand they won't cut them. Then say they must be cut on the other. Two faced bastards.

As of now the OWS movement has no leadership that I know of. I'm not sure I want it to either. Look how the Tea Party has been hijacked by kooks. Of course it was created by kooks so that's no surprise. The leadership should have come from the Democratic Party by Democrats willing to stand up to the Wall Street crowd and say i don't want your donations and ad men putting out propaganda. I want you to pay your fair share of the tax burden and not fight sensible laws and regulations that protect the millions of Americans who rely on a market with integrity for their financial security.

Howard Dean was the Democratic Party chairman. He was a damn good one. I don;t even know who the current one is. But I see our Democratic elected officials abandoning the party and it's principles all over. They care only about themselves. Then wonder where all the party members and unions are at election time. Doing My Best To Make A Difference

I haven't been posting as much as I could here since I've taken it upon myself to be the voice of reason on message boards infested with deluded right wing trolls. And believe it or not, it looks like it's making a difference. Not that it's all me. But I do notice far more either left leaning, or just plain sensible people taking the idiots who offer no ideas, but the nauseating repeat of "Obama is a socialist" thousands of times a day.

I really like patrolling MSM Money, Yahoo Finance and Seeking Alpha to expose the simple minded right wing sheep that lurk on their message boards. it confounds them that a greedy capitalist pig like myself has a conscience and ability to think for himself rather than parrot whatever shit Rush and the Koch Brothers are handing out on a given day.

So all in all, even if I don't change anyone's mind on these boards, at least my efforts and the efforts of the like minded people that are fighting back are pissing off the righties. And that's always a good thing. Especially since the sites I follow have tens of thousands of readers. That makes for a helluva lot of pissed off deluded right wing fools. Nothing pisses off a righty more than the truth. Especially when it's delivered by Truth 101.

I'm going to keep on truckin with this effort. And I thank everyone that drops by for my less than frequent posts about my dog or Grandbaby who straightened me out again last night. I was on the laptop again and she was signing at me. I googled the sign and it was two signs. She signed "put away." Even she thinks I spend too much time on this thing. The Best Advice I Will Ever Give

A few years ago I fancied myself a pretty good blogger. But when I stumbled into this community, which I call the Swash Zone Community, with people like Shaw, Octopus, my adopted big brother TAO, Captain Fogg, Repsac, Kevin the Deranged Leftwing Baker and others, I realized I had alot to learn. And I think I did. I learned loads from these good folks and others. I've even learned from Octo's whipping boy Les of Rational nation whom I consider if not my equal, then a notch or two better than me

Then I was welcomed into the MadMike's America Community. Learned alot from the great bloggers there as well. Most of all, learned humility. I wasn't the only left leaning blogger as i thought I was when it was me against the righties of Western Illinois.

But from all I've learned from everyone since joining these great blogging communities, I still am convinced that what I learned during a campaign forum when I was running for County Board years ago is the best advice I could ever give. The second best was when I told a guy who wanted to run for Congress to run as a republican. He said he was a Democrat and was proud. I said I was proud to but do you want to be an idealist making no money as a blogger like me in Western Illinois, or a Congressman. He never did run. He would have made a great Congressman also. But the Democrats in Rock Island picked their guy and that's where the votes were so he was screwed.

Anyway, forgive my digressing. Years ago as I sat with the group of county board candidates the guy on my right leaned over to me just before the moderator started the questioning and whispered "Damn. I have to take a shit."

That's when it hit me. The greatest advice I could ever impart to anyone is to take a shit before starting anything. Nerves make you shit. Get rid of it before you get nervous. Before you knock on that door or wait on that customer. Before you get on stage. Before you take the field. For God's sake! Take a shit!

Trust me. Your mother told you to empty your bladder before a car trip. Take a shit before doing anything. You'll never go wrong.

If Children Are The Future We're Screwed

Old grandad 101 did it again. My better half and daughter decided to go shopping and out to lunch and asked if I'd watch Sofie. I of course agreed as Sofia and I get along famously. She pretty much entertains herself now anyway so I can blog and visit all my financial sites without being interrupted.

So they leave and Sofia proceeds to destroy the living room as I blogger. Then the spare bedroom. Then Mom's room. Then she came back into the living room and started signing at me.

Sofia is a Downs Baby. Her oral language skills are delayed but they're making up for that by teaching her sign language which she is pretty good at for not being two yet.

So she goes through all her signs and I figure out she's hungry. I can't remember what each sign for each morsel she wants is so I just take her to the kitchen and start showing her stuff. If it's not what she wants she doesn't have a sign for that. She just throws it. So she threw the cheese. The crackers. The grapes and a few other things before I gave her the garbanzo beans which I should have given her first cause she eats hell out of these things. Content, I went back to the laptop. Then Sofia came back out and signed at me some more. I was reading Repsac's latest exposure of the idiocy of Donald Douglas at American Nihilist when she started in on me. I had no clue what she wanted this time and she would leave me alone so I told her to shut up. She didn't so thinking fast, I Googled the sign for shut up and signed it at her. She didn't appreciate me signing her to shut up cause she promptly signed back at me to shut up. Then the garage door opened and I knew I was in trouble. Mom and Grandma were back. Hopefully Sofia would forget how to sign "shut up" before they come in the house.

I picked up Sofia and carried her to the kitchen telling her Mommy's home. She was excited. Mommy and Grandma came in squealing "Sofie! Sofie!" Sofie signed at them to shut up.

My wife and daughter are incredibly smart. Mensa like scary intelligence. They knew the sign for shut up and who taught Sofie. I feigned ignorance and asked what was this about. Grandma said "You know what you did." I hung my head in shame and said I was sorry.

Sofie signed at me to shut up.

Wall Street Occupiers Need Beware of Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

The enemy is lurking within you now. Your ranks will be infiltrated with guys wearing union shirts or something like it. These people are plants. Could be from Breitbart. Could be from my old pal Tookie from right here in Quincy. "Tookie" got hosed by the local democratic administration and never forgot. The disgruntled can be more dangerous than the traditional enemy.

Anyone you see who is looking more to pick a fight than protest corporate greed and injustice, point him/her out to the cops. Let them get their heads busted. Responsible adults need to take our country and government back from the tea baggers and Kochsuckers and corporate interests that control it. They don;t fight back with reason and facts. they will infiltrate. Backstab. Tell any lie they can if they think it will reflect badly on the real Americans who want a government that works for all of us.

We must keep this movement mainstream. The last thing we need is to scare the Moms of America. We want them on our side. It's important they and everyone understand the safety and security of their children and their future is at grave risk should the extremist republicans and their unending war on the middle class win in 2012. It is the republicans who want to destroy Social Security and Medicare. Endangering the retirement security of the 99%.

It's the republicans that want to slash education funding. Making only those who can afford expensive private schools able to have access to the best education. Not just in elementary and high school. But this would also put college out of reach when the republicans cut finding to state colleges and universities.

It's republicans who want to slash health care funding and destroy the health care law that makes health insurance available to millions of people that don't have it.

99 percent of us have a story to tell about how the economy which was nearly destroyed by Reaganomics, two invasions and occupations and the Bush tax cuts has caused us hardship. Some more than others. It's affected my family severely. We, the Wall Street Occupiers, the 99%, need the rest of the 99% on our side. Some of them are right leaning, FOX News watchers. Like it or not, we have to have some of them on our side since the electorate is so evenly divided. Dressing like a zombie isn't going to convince them. Knowing that others share their frustration with government cow towing to Wall Street might.

I have a good time poking fun at righties here. But I never saw the grass roots effort I'm seeing now. This movement has to be open to all who are pissed off at the way big business runs our government. There should be no litmus or purity test. Only that we are mad as hell and we're taking our country back from the corporations that blackmail us for more tax cuts, loopholes and deregulation and send jobs to wherever they can find desperate people willing to work for slave wages.

The wolves are waiting to pounce. The best defense is a cool head and good sense. Help the police do their jobs and these jokers will be the ones in jail and the 99% can take back America.

Republicans Are Destroying Social Security and Medicare So There Will Be A Bigger Supply Of Dead Senior Citizens For Them To Eat

You see, republicans want to slash Social Security and Medicare not because of some phony concern about government spending. They have proven they don't care how much government spends. What they want is old people who rely on Social Security and Medicare to die sooner so republicans have more of them to eat. Republicans love their beef aged like it is in the finest steak houses. Cheney and Rove and the rest of the republican elite know beef frozen fresh retains much of it's texture and flavor. Thus, they like old people who can't pay their heating bills in cold climates to die from lack of medical care and not being able to pay their heating bills after their Social Security and Medicare are taken away. They want this "beef" processed and sold at Walmart and other fine republican grocery stores and restaurants so republicans can make lots of money. They will of course expect tax loopholes to help Halliburton in this venture.

Truth 101 Has Run It's Course

Time for a different strategy, at least for me.

Lately it seems there's more correcting of left leaning bloggers by left leaning bloggers than there should be. My typing isn't what it should be. I admit it. This HP laptop has a couple of keys out of place. But no matter where I go, a left leaner has to correct me. And that's a problem. If It pisses me off when someone on my side is condescending to me, and discounts what I have to say, imagine how an independent or righty that may be of open mind feels.

Message boards ire infested with right wing trolls whom I suspect are fewer in number than the number of comments they leave. One guy with many aliases. But these message boards are on big time websites. Yahoo or MSM, etc. I see many of them so I'm going to try and spend my time correcting in a kind and gentle way these people rather than be corrected by fellow left leaning bloggers who face it, pretty much are only communicating with other left leaning bloggers. other than Rational Nation who I thought was done with left leaning bloggers but apparently not.

I leave you with pictures of my four boys; Karl, Che and Fidel. As well as the other who shall not be named as he had the audacity to say something nice about George Bush when he was thirteen. I never forgave him. he got even by wearing his blue man outfit to all family gatherings.

Wish me luck. Or correct me if you want. But when I see tens of thousands of Democrats in New York stay home rather than vote and give a seat to a republican in Weiner's old district. When I see many of my blogger friends feuding at MMA over a post dissing Obama, vulgar? Yeah. Correct in it's premise? Yeah. And a split that may well give the presidency to an idiot like Rick Perry. Republicans and the "Shit Eating Grin"

In academia we use certain terms and phrases that those who are less learned may find confusing. One of these term is "shit eating grin." An art that republicans and mediocre football coaches rely on rather than facts to convince the deluded and stupid that they are on "their side" or, to hide that they themselves are clueless as to what they're talking about.

Among the more ardent users of the "shit eating grin" is failed former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina. She has become so relyant on the "shit eating grin" that it is rare to see her not sporting one. Her technique of telling a typical right wing lie about low taxes and less government is always followed by a "shit eating grin."

Another devotee of the shit eating grin is failed former senator Rick Santorum. He generally talks of republican moral values while forgetting the immoral acts of his fellow senators Like Vitter or Larry Craig with a long "shit eating grin.

Of the many mediocre football coaches who use the "shit eating grin" as a tool to hide their mediocrity, none was finer than the failed Eric Mangini. He would lie in answer to a question, or evade, and follow with a "shit eating grin.

In my years of study on the subject of shit eating grinning, the finest shit eating grinner I have come across is Iowa governor Terry Branstad. A finer shit eating grinner you will never find.

Branstad of course won election in 2010 when it was a bad time to be a democrat anywhere. He said nothing but the usual republican tripe, followed by a shit eating grin. And though when he was governor in the 90's and benefited from the skillful management of the country by President Bill Clinton, he tried to take credit for those times, and with his shit eating grin, won election.

The shit eating grin has become a pseudo code for the right. A message they send to their corporate masters that what they say about how cutting taxes on the rich raises tax revenue and creates jobs and will help the poor and middle class, followed by a shit eating grin, lets them know the real agenda is to screw the poor and middle class so the wealthiest enjoy more of the largess that America offers.

This requires more study, but the biggest threat America faces now may not be the deficit or terrorists. It's most likely the republican shit eating grin.

When Will Washington Get It?

many people I know play the stock market as I do. Small timers who were fortunate enough to have a little extra to invest and just like doing it or got burned be a lousy broker.

For the most part though, Wall Street is controlled by the rich. Hedge fund or mutual fund managers that invest and controll billions of dollars. These are the people, damn few of them, that The Fed, Obama and the Democrats and the republicans bend over for. Whatever they want, they get.

Wall Street wanted stimuluses and Quantitative easings. Despite republicans in Congress bashing them, if Wall Street had needed the votes, Boehner would have made sure a few of his safe seat republicans had given them.

Bernanke just announced Operation Twist. It will move 400 billion from short term to long term treasuries. Good of you're a big freaking bond fund manager. The stock market crashed though. And the big shot insiders must have known it was coming since they all stopped buying a few weeks ago. They're fine. But the little guy trying to save and invest for the future took a good hosing. We don;t get the information till long after the big shots get it. Too late for us to make informed decisions. We can read about why shit hit the fan tomorrow while the hedge fund manager that shorted the Dow is laughing it up looking at his profit statement.

The banks got bailed out but they're not lending. Jim Kramer just lamented how hard it was for him to get a mortgage recently. I have no love for Jim Kramer but that's ridiculous. And I bet a few fat cat hedge fund managers have the inside scoop why banks are hoarding cash and making borrowing difficult for even a wealthy guy like Jim Kramer. And while they're laughing it up at the country club, government is doing all it can to help them become wealthier while me and everyone like me is wondering why government doesn't give a rat's ass about us.

And there's still talk about how the democrat in Weiner's old New York Congressional district lost. Many believe it's because the republicans scared Jewish voters into think the Democrat wasn't pro Jew enough. That bullshit appeals to idiots and bigots that already think think it. The fact is the Democratic Party from the top doesn't care about the working Americans anymore. Half the regular Democrat voters didn't vote because they didn't feel like wasting their time voting for a Wall Street whore, which is what the Democratic Party now is.

Friends, the Democrat candidate in Anthony Wiener's gerrymandered for Democrats new York District lost yesterday's special Congressional election.

We threw money at this election. We gave our candidate resources and did far more than we should have had to and still lost.

We're screwed. I thought Obama was untouchable in 2012. Rick Perry is a kook and each day he moves closer to the republican nomination. He says Social Security is a ponzi scheme and Mitt Romney can't even use that to gain on him. Tea Partiers cheer letting a guy with no health insurance die.

More independents are leaning republican now. The sad facts are Obama is probably going to lose despite being as good a republican president as republicans could have asked. Many of my friends that lean even more left than I do may well stay home or vote Green Party or something in 2012. And Obama won;t get the message that moving to the center (right) doesn't work anymore.

We've got an electorate the republicans successfully convinced that Obama caused the market crash and TARP and deficits and apologised to commies despite the fact the stimulus was the idea of the Bush Administration and the deficit problem was born under Reagan.

Whatever the Democrats, and yes, we bloggers, are doing isn't working. I only took this blog back from my dog to get this off my chest. We suck. Facts don't mattter snymore. Logic doesn't matter. Only telling people shit they want to hear and repeating it over and over.

And forget nazi comparisons. The right cheered a guy's death at the last debate. They like being compared to Nazis. It's no insult to these people and the screwball "independents" are no better. They'll vote for the nazi because somebody called him a nazi to teach the guy that called him a nazi a lesson. Yet, while we are called welfare whores or socialists, they don't vote for our guys.

Republicans vote. They never miss an election. We have to beg damn near a third of voters who lean democrat to go vote. As a party, republicans are more loyal and obedient. They're better at party stuff than we are. They have no problem getting people to write and sign letters to the editor repeating whatever talking points the RNC wants repeated. We don't have that. Believe me.

I've done my share of remodels and other construction jobs. I always had to reassure people as the project went on that there's going to be a big mess but it will get better and soon it will be wonderful. That's not the case with the Democratic Party or the left as a movement. The party on local and national levels is run but a few, whether they be people or corporations, who's focus is on personal or company gain rather than the welfare of America. And as bad as things will get under a Rick Perry presidency, the Democratic Party as an equal and opposite force that protects the average working Joe and Joan, is dying and will continue.

Plese don't give me any crap about drafting Hillary for president. The only chance is a quick repeal of the 22nd Amendment so we can nominate Bill Clinton.

I'm going to be okay. Many of you will also. But many more will be totally screwed. Dusty has a post at her personal blog about the numbers of poor that will increase with budget reductions and the ensuing loss of GDP that will come with them. Half these people won't even bother to vote. Many of them will vote republican. And they will be waving their flags and shouting right wing talking points while they're standing on the soup line. God Bless America. And the funny thing is, (Heartless ashole I am) they will get their flat tax and readjustment of graduated tax rates so they can start paying their "fair share" as the rich want them to.

A few singers have tried to match Conway's naughtiness, and while they can for a short time, nobody matches the sheer volume of naughtiness of Conway Twitty. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap had some Twitty worthy songs about devirginizing and showering hearts with something better left to porn stars showering on each other. But they were done after a couple years. Conway was singing about having a slow hand and easy touch long after Gary Puckett joined the oldies crowd.

Some singers were more direct with their message of debauchery. KISS sang "Lick it Up." But while Conway may not have been as direct, his message was the same. And his groupies didn't have tattoos all over themselves.

I'm not sure what made me think of eulogizing Conway Twitty today. The somber mood considering what day it is perhaps. Conway was a great American because the righties think all country music singers are great Americans. Except for Toby Keith who was a great American until he came out in support of Obama in 2008 and said he was a democrat cause they're for working people. Dudley Meets The Farmer's Daughter

It never ceases to amaze me that people think just because I'm a dog that I want to go out and run around. There is nothing wrong with a good nap. Yet this idiot T101 decided to take me on one of his fishing trips with his friend John and his brother.

"Brother" said he knew a guy at work who said they could go to his family's farm and fish in it's bog pond. So Brother and John show up on what would have been a marvelous Saturday if there had not been fishing, or any other activity that required more movement than getting to the food bowl. brother had this old Ford Bronco that he said we'd need to take cause the farm is out in the sticks and that I should come along cause I,m a dog. He said Dudley could be free and ride with his head out the window like the cool dogs. Brother is an idiot. Labs stick their heads out the Windows of moving vehicles because they're stupid. German Shepards do because they're arrogant jackasses who think they're doing the world a favor by letting us look at them.

The trip to the pond sucked. Brother's Bronco didn't have air conditioning and the backseat was an old lawn chair he had tethered to the floor with bungee cords. A bungee cord also acted as a seatbelt. I was comical watching T101 figure out how to tether himself into this death trap. I was forced to lay on a dirty floor and hope I didn't fall through one of the rust holes.

After damn near 90 minutes of gravel roads and bumps we got to the farm. Typical farm I guess. Big white house with a wrap around porch. There was this big, fat old lady sitting on the porch and she said "howdy boys." The boys said howdy back while I waited for one of these inconsiderate assholes to lift me out of the Bronco and put me on the ground. Then the "vision" struck. Out of the front door the hottest female I'd ever seen walked out. The farmer's daughter I guess. Every now and then a female so hot everyone has to stop and take notice comes around. This was her. She could have turned Boy George straight and Queen Victoria lesbian. Mercy!

John, Brother and T101's jaws were dropped all the way to the ground and being the only one with enough self control to take advantage of the situation, one of the advantages of being neutered, I sprang into action. I was going to give this chick a good, friendly sniffing.

So off the Bronco I jumped and pranced right over to the gal and began my sniff. People don;t understand the "sniff." Just as a Japanese guy might bow, or a western guy would shake hands, dogs sniff as a greeting. So I gave the greatest greeting I ever gave. While the three idiots were still tripping over their tongues, I started my sniff. She dug it and was loving me back. Then I worked my way to her backside, gave a knowing look to T101 and the boys and buried my nose right in this beauty's ass. All the way to the ears.

The Farmer's Daughter yelped and jumped about three feet in the air. I saw the looks on the three stooge's faces and knew that for that one moment, I was king and they wished they could be a fat assed beagle like me. Of course all good moments come to an end cause as soon as the daughter landed this fat old battle ax started waddling down the steps of her porch carrying a pitch fork. What in hell a pitch fork was doing on her porch is still a mystery to me but if I was going to get pitch forked to death I have to say, considering how fine the farmer's daughter's ass was, yes, it was worth it.

The farmer's daughter quickly intervened, I love dog lovers, and told the old hag I was just being friendly. She then asked if I could come in and have a treat. I didn't wait for permission. I just ran inside and laid down and waited for my treat and another chance to do some good sniffing.

I don;t know if T101 and his friends caught any fish cause I stayed inside and took a nap. But if this is what fishing is all about, count me in next time.

Austrian economics eschews charts and other empiracal nonsense in favor behavioral reason as to economic moves. In essence, I don;t have to wear myself out producing charts and data and formulas and past histories and analyst reviews and pump and dump articles on financial websites and sucking up to Standard and Poors or Moodys for a favorable rating so Truth 101 can make a decision on whether or not to give me a damn treat.

All I have to do is something cute so Truth 101 is emotionally satisfied enough to reward me with a treat. I prefer bacon. This takes far less time and effort than all that other crap. I can sit up and beg in a millisecond. Bingo! I get a treat. If I don;t feel like begging or just want to be a pain in Truth 101's ass, I can sit in front of the treat closet and whine for a minute. Fat Ass Beagle Ate My Corn!

This fat ass bastard might look innocent as hell but believe me, he is one sinister, gluttonous pig.

Anyone that knows me knows I dig good corn on the cob. Swimming in butter and salt. Damn! me and my buddy from Milwaukee once drove to Wisconsin for no other reason that to go to the state far and eat grilled corn on the cob for 25 cents an ear. We left at 5AM and wolked through the turnstyle just as the corn was ready. We stood there for hours eating corn on the cob and drinking beer. Then we went back the next day and did it again.

So last week we go to the store and goof Melrose Farms sweet corn is on sale. They even had a big garbage can there so you could shuck and leave the mess there. My wife did the shopping while I shucked the corn.

We got home with this shitload of corn and I said I'd boil up a few ears tonight and experiment with the grill setting so i could finish it up on the grill for the grilled flavor. My said to knock myself out. So I went to work on a few ears and they ended up perfect. All the while the fat ass beagle was sitting at the foot of the table with that shit eating pathetic "I'm starving" look on his face.

We got done and I said we'll have the family over tomorrow night for burgers, dogs and corn on the cob. I'd be a hero. But my plans were dashed by the evil Dudley.

My mistake was leaving the corn that was to be cooked on the table instead of the counter. Dudley is a lazy fat ass who insisits on being lifted up stairs and onto furniture. But if there's food involved he's capable of incredible athletic feats and cleverness. I got home from work the next day and on the kitchen floor were the 30 ears of corn, or should I say thirty corn cobs devoid of corn. This asshole moved a chair so he could climb on it then the table and ate my fucking corn! I screamed "Dudley!"

Dudley is like a cheatin husband who figures it's better to go ahead and cheat or eat the corn and apologise later than ask permission. So I knew exactly where he was. He was already in his crate his belly distended and looking apologetic. I wasn't fooled. I knew he wasn't sorry. I ordered him out of his crate and he didn't move. At first I thought he was being disobedient. Then I figured out he couldn't move cause he ate thirty ears of corn. I admonished and insulted him once again and left him in his crate to wallow in his own lard.

Somehow, I don't think he learned his lesson. To Dudley, wallowing in lard is like soaking in a hot tub.

I'm so desperate for attention I was thinking of leaving a comment at Whirling Dervish's outstanding blog Sleeping With the Devil plugging my blog. Which is inferior to the wonderful Sleeping With the Devil.

Les let me do a guest post at his Rational Nation. I haven't figured out how to get email alerts from Rational Nation so I don't know if anyone looked at that post either. Nobody emailed me either a threat or congratulations. They may have emailed Tom who gets thousands of emails threatening him and congratulating him. World Wrestlng Entertainment So Desperate it Brings Back Kevin Nash

One of my many careers was as a professional wrestling promoter so before anyone thinks I'm nuts i do have some credibility on this.

The WWE is in trouble. As is professional wrestling as an industry. But who cares about that. The reason I can tell the WWE is in trouble is that they brought back the eternally overrated, and boring as hell, Kevin Nash.

Nash has been at best a mediocre in ring performer. At least half the guys that worked in my company for $10 a night had more talent and were more convincing than this guy. His schtick has always been to spend half the show standing in the ring yelling at the crowd predictable and totally useless nonsense. Although he is impressive physically, the reality is he and whoever buys into his crap, along with the wrestling company killer Eric Bischoff, drive fans away and bankrupt wrestling promotions.

It is proof of the desperation the WWE is experiencing that they look to a second tier performer that somehow found himself as a darling of the powers that be to save it from death.

There is hope however for the WWE. And from what I've seen over the years, WWE owner Vince McMahon is willing to forego his ego and hire former company employees back. The only hope for the WWE is to pay whatever it takes to bring back Brock Lesnar and have him defeat The Undertaker at next year's Wrestlemania. Short of that, WWE is done.

Idiots Everywhere I Go

Been gone a few days and I apologise to all that have missed me. Found out about a lake in Iowa that they said you could walk across on the backs of five pound bass. Naturally me and my pal John had to check it out.

Normally John would demand that we take his idiot brother along but since he sold his boat we had to use my brother in laws so he couldn't blackmail me into taking him. I would rather have not gone anyway if we had to take that dickbrain for getting us kicked out of the strip joint for shitting his pants anyway. I'm still pissed at losing the $5 cover and damn near full bottle of beer when the big Arab looking bouncer kicked us out.

Moving on; John asked if he could bring his nephew this time. John said his nephew was cool and read In Fisherman so he'd fit right in with us advanced anglers. So being the warm human being I am I agreed. Anyone that reads In Fisherman can't be all bad.

I get to John's house and the inevitable happens. John's nephew is an idiot. He comes out of the house and in voice that was a mix of Ton Vodette and Andy Griffith, he extends his hand and says "Howdy podner. My name's Ray. But you can call me Jay. or you can call me grey. Just don't call me late for supper. Heh heh heh."
I said "Jesus Christ" to which Ray, or Jay, replied, "Good to know you Jesus."

A four hour ride with this corn pone shithead was not my idea of fun. John was laughing his head off then stopped suddenly when it dawned on him he would be in the truck also listening to this Andy Taylor gibberish the next four hours.

And misery it was. Everything someone would say, or was on the radio, evoked a down home response from this idiot Ray. He had a story about the old days or some stupid ass anecdote about what they did in his day. Every fucking cornfield we passed this nut would have to say "Knee high by the fourth of July." Iowa is full of cornfields. Ray said "knee high by the fourth of July" at least a hundred times. The new windmills are all over the place also. This idiot had to comment on every one of them also. Something about in his day windmills were for whatever they were for in his day.

The worst thing though was his love of singing the jingle for every business or billboard we passed. If I ever hear someone sing "Save big money at Menards" again I'll shit my pants.

About hour four into the trip we passed a billboard for an adult goodies store called Lion's Den or something. Ray said they didn't have them things in his day. Women were content with a penis and didn't need all the fancy stuff. I said "Ray, or Jay. Whatever the fuck it is. You're nineteen years old. You haven't even reached you day yet so quit acting like you're 80 you shithead." Ray said "Thems is some powful words there Jesus. Mehbe you need a warm glass of milk and a good nap."

I said we needed to go to the adult store and buy a butt plug and see if it'd plug Ray's mouth shut. John must have had enough of this Junior samples crap to cause looked back at Ray and simply waved his hand across his throat with the universal shut the fuck up or I'll kick you ignorant ass sign.

Ray did shut up after that and the rest of the drive went well. After we got on the lake ray started his corn pone again. I opened my tacklebox loaded with $5,000 worth of Rapalas and Yums and Gulps and Ray said "those are some purty critters ya git in thar. I'm old fashioned but ah still think if you can;t catch it with a worm it ain't a fish." I said little girls fish with worms. Then asked ray if he wanted me to bait his hook for him. John asked if I'd bait his cause he was till allergic to fish slime.

The fishing was decent. We didn't walk across the lake on the backs of five pounders, but they were hitting this weedless spinnerbait thing I rigged up. John caught plenty with his minnow and cane pole. Ray was hapless with his cheap Shakespeare reel and worm. I kept screwing around with the boat so it's be tough on him. Then of course I rubbed in that he didn't catch any fish. I told him next time we'd go someplace with a kiddie pond so he could use his worms

Funny thing in Iowa though. The republicans are supposed be campaigning all over for the caucus and straw poll and the only signs I saw were for Ron Paul. You'd think they gave more of a shit for Iowa than that.

The kids decided we needed to take Dudley to Petco, or whatever it is, for a birthday toy. I figured okay. The hog needs some exercise. So we load up Dudley and everyone else who decided taking a dog that should be going to the gym to Petco would be a nice adventure.

We get there and Dudley is paraded in like Henry the VIII. So after all the butt sniffing and hair ruffling and trying to get the parrot to say something, I decided it was time to go. I took Dudley and his new toy to the cash register and the young smart ass girl who was clerking asked if I knew my dog was overweight. "That's not healthy for them to be that obese" she said. I thought a smart remark about when did Petco start hiring veterinarians to be check out clerks would be in order but rethought. I told her the vet said poor Dudley had a thyroid problem. She acted as though that was a reasonable explanation and I would have gotten away with it to if it hadn't been for my pesky kids. Here they come with a freaking twenty pound box of bacon flavored treats. Of course they had to show them to Dudley who thought he should be rewarded with at least half the box at that moment for his presence. The clerk gave me a dirty look. I figured after being caught red handed with the first whopper about the thyroid it's be best of I just shut up and paid for the toy and treats and left before she announced to the store that I was the miserable owner of a poor 70lb Beagle. Yes. Poor Dudley. Who treats every pillow as his own. Demands to be carried in from the yard so he doesn't have to step in his own poop. And has a favorite air conditioner grate to lay on when he thinks it's too hot. And not a worry in the world.

One of the basic traits all those who describe themselves as right leaning, conservative, or republican, is a closed mind. Economic class does not discriminate in this matter. Whether it is a poor person who votes republican, or a wealthy person, their minds will reject anything that doesn't fit in with their preconceived, and most often, deluded views of the world around them.

An interesting case in point is tea party supporters and government employees. The fallacy of the discriminated against white person is rampant among the closed minded that permeate the tea party, as well as the republican party ranks. Yet, anytime they are reminded that unemployment among Blacks is twice as high as it is among Whites they reject this attack on their deluded view and justify it by saying Blacks are lazy, or some other bit of ignorance as this implies that Whites are not lazy. Laziness is equally common in people of all ethnic backgrounds. So in essence, those on the right react to the truth with a lie that makes them feel better. The end result is a group of people that are desperate to hear lies that justify their ignorance which can be exploited for political as well as economic purposes.

Republicans have long been noted as the party of business and the wealthy. For good reason. It is the party of unscrupulous business and the wealthy. And achieving wealth does take intelligence and work. Unless of course you've had a head start by inheriting great wealth. Then it's much easier as the old adage about it takes money to make money is very true.

Good business people watch their costs and try to utilize resources as effectively as possible. Thus, it has been found that a good lie is far more effective and cost efficient than truth. Truth not only takes time for validation, which means more man hours and charts and graphs and quotes, but it also requires the work of your target market to read and comprehend the message. A good analogy is the fact that taxes have been lowered under President Obama. The Bush tax cuts have been extended. The wealthy who derive their income from dividends pay a lesser percentage in tax on those earnings than many middle class families do on theirs. It takes charts to prove this which the average bigot, homophobe, idiot and religious zealot will not look at. Yet, if the see or hear someone say Obama is a socialist, they will believe it because it's short, simple and fits in with their preconceived notions. Even though most of these people have no clue what socialism is and want government to keep it's hands of Social Security and attended and sent their children to public schools.

The answer is not to keep using charts and hoping these people will finally read them and accept the truth. Then demand those that lie to them start telling the truth. The answer is to put the message in short terms they can understand by people they will accept. Unfortunately academics like myself, anyone that doesn't speak with a southern twang, or a female that doesn't remind them of Minnie Pearl, will have no sway and be quickly dismissed by those the republicans exploit for votes.

The answer is the left hiring Larry the Cable Guy as it's spokesperson.

A senator in a suit telling the public that Social Security payments will stop if Congress fails to pass a new debt ceiling will mean nothing to the typical republican. They won't believe it. If Larry the Cable Guy says "They cut Granny's Social Security and she's movin in with me and my wife, who's also her niece, git er done, heh heh. And we gotta take Granny to the veterinarian cause she ain't got no Medicare either since they cut that too."

Nothing I enjoy more than sipping cognac and high minded conversation with fellow academics. We're not dealing with academics and open minded people who want to improve their minds and see their country prosper. Irritating behaviours from childhood can often predict future behaviours and political leanings.

An irritating child behaviour is the habit of plugging one's ears so as not to hear anything the child finds unpleasant or disagreeable to his beliefs. Perhaps a belief in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy, when told the truth, the child plugs his ears and screams so he doesn't have to hear it. In most cases, children that exhibit this trait tend to grow up to be republicans.

Just as bratty children don't want to hear the truth, republicans don;t want to either. they will go to extremes like listening to Rush Limbaugh and reading and rereading Karl Rove newsletters in efforts to affirm their deluded beliefs. Any talk of climate change,exposing supply side economics for the massive scheme to put more wealth into the hands of the wealthiest, informing them that Barack Obama is indeed the legitimate President of the United States, etc. is greeted with a covering of the ears and as a form of screaming which they did in their youth, spouting meaningless phrases designed to make those of limited intelligence feel better about themselves.

These people are exploited by those whose intelligence far exceeds their ethics. Karl Rove is a master manipulator of the weak minded. Another who is an expert and doesn't get the credit for intelligence she deserves is Sarah Palin. Her reassuring rhetoric to the simple minded, telling them that they are the smart ones, not Washington bureaucrats, and that Paul Revere warned the British that they weren't going to take our guns, is an incredibly effective technique of mind control. Michelle Bachman is also very astute at controlling the minds of simpletons with statements so idiotic they make idiots feel good about themselves.

As a trained therapist, I understand the difficulties of dealing with the closed minded. Especially when there is a massive media effort led by FOX News and Limbaugh and Glen Beck who convince the simpleminded that agreeing with them makes one a good American. When confronted with the fact that listening and believing the nonsense set forth by propagandists for a political party makes one not a good American, but a mindless dupe, the old behaviour pattern sets in and the subject covers his ears and hums The Star Spangled Banner. Treatment takes patience and time. Unfortunately, the lies of FOX News and the other propagandists hold powerful sway over the weak minded. Liberal ideas require thought and a mind open to possibilities. Conservative only requires a few easily memorized catch phrases and a coach waving a flag.

Despite all the vitriol I've heaped on Sarah Palin I do have to grudgingly give her some respect as well. When presented the opportunity to grab the brass ring, Sarah grabbed it. She ran for mayor and won. She ran for governor and won. She ran as McCain's VP and although they lost, Sarah won by shooting for the stars. I think even Sarah knows her intellectual abilities are limited at best, but like Hillary Clinton, a woman who's smarter than just about all of us, Sarah has balls.

Look at the insults she and her family have endured because she chose to reach high. I really have no problem with her quitting as governor for the money. Hell. If the RNC wanted to pay me a few million to shill for them, I'd do it.

And there is the real story we're not hearing about the McCain/Palin candidacy. How it was I suspect sabotaged by the same vast right wing cabal that did all it could to bring down the Clintons.

Anyone paying attention knew the economy was on the brink of depression in 2008. If a republican had somehow won that election the world would have crashed on their watch. It was bad enough that it was teetering on their watch but a depression could have actually been the death knell for the republicans. They did all they could to get the addle brained McCain on the ticket. And it was his turn. Kind of like Bob Dole. They were pretty sure he was going to lose but it was his turn.

And just to make sure they lost, they had to because in case anyone forgot, President Obama is black, a larger part of the republican base is bigots, if they all voted against the black guy that might put a republican in the White House just as the shit hit the fan, they tricked McCain into putting Sarah Palin on the republican ticket. I read in my fine local paper, The Quincy Herald Whig today that 2/3 of republicans believe President Obama wasn't born in the USA. This myth has caused havoc among the republican presidential primary contenders because they know honesty equals defeat among republican voters. So these pandering pussies trip all over themselves stuttering about where President Obama was born so as not to alienate the huge number of idiots that are the republican base. Republican idiots are well represented by the symbol of the elephant. They never forget. They remember all outcroppings of good sense and intelligence and never forgive them.

These 2/3 of the republican party love Congressman Paul Ryan's budget proposal that cuts stuff these idiots depend on while making sure the wealthy who exploit them are taken care of. But these idiots don't care because they love America and prove it by having Tea Party signs in their yards and misspelled signs they take to tea bagger rallies demanding government keep it's hands off Social Security and Medicare. They hate Medicaid also until they need nursing home care so they go to the lawyer and have their property put into a trust so they can get Medicaid to pay for their nursing home care. This of course protects their assets so future generations of government hating, tea bagging dupes can inherit them. And the irony is none of these idiots will ever have to pay any inheritance taxes but they will cry the loudest about a billionaire's estate being taxed.

The saddest fact is you can't reason with these idiots. They're hopeless. They believe anything the country club set and Karl Rove and FOX News tell them. They hate minimum wage and unions despite the fact that unions fought and won 40 hour weeks and workplace safety laws and helped our parents spend weekends on the Jersey Shore. Don't see that much these days cause Mom and Dad both have to work to make ends meet and one of them is always working weekends.

They say that children are the future. They stayed home in 2010 allowing republicans to take the House. Folks; we're screwed.

I never heard a losing candidate say "Gee. I sure wish I'd gone positive." Positive works if your opponent is either hopelessly inept, stupid or just a panzy that also went positive. You gotta be willing to get down and dirty if you're going to be successful.

This entails many things. First of all, you need supporters who are willing to do dirty work so you, the candidate, can stay above the fray. This includes writers of nasty letters to the editor and blogging nasty things about you opponent. As well as rumor mongering. You need good nasty rumors these days.

Blogging, if done correctly, is a WMD. I'm not talking about the small time blogs like this one with a couple hundred readers on a good day with a fresh, well titled post. I'm talking about a well advertised blog that passes itself off as a news site or something like it. These get extraordinary amounts of traffic and they can do untold damage to an opponents campaign by keeping the idiots and hyper partisans stirred up enough to write nasty things. Repeat nasty rumors, and most important, vote against whomever the vitriol is directed towards.

There's more though. While negative works, these days there are too many independents who are just fed up with the system. You have to appeal to them in most cases because the partisan divide is too even. Don't let their "independence" fool you. They are just as easily sucked in be attack as anyone. The trick is to do it with a mix of outrage and subtlety. I will explain:

An open attack won't resonate with them because it's just another open attack. The trick is to get them thinking. A letter from some phony group like republicans use such as The Business Roundtable or virtually anything that has the words "family" or "freedom" or "farmer" in it are good examples. Groups set up with catchy names who's sole purpose is to endorse republicans and spread bullshit.

In this case we should use a name that includes words that get the attention of the thoughtful like "ethical." A letter from "Concerned Citizens for Ethical Government" would guarantee it would be read. In this you don't come right out with an attack but an expression of "concern" over ethical lapses by your target. Then you follow this with a lament for honesty and hope that fellow citizens will join you in calling for ethics and people of better character being called to public service than the turkey your letter is directed at.

Another must do strategy is infiltration of the opponent's supporter base. You need quick access to all their fliers and strategies so you can attack them as soon as they're out. Or better yet, nip them in the bud before they're out. It's always wise to keep a few people that take ballots from the opposing party in primaries so they get on the mailing lists and get the information you need. Especially if they don't mind joining a few organizations that support the opposite party. A letter or blog post or phone call to a local talk show from a member of an organization that supports the other candidate blasting him and saying he doesn't truly represent party values, or business interests, whatever, is devastating. A campaign spends all it's time answering charges instead of attacking you and getting it's message out. And that perhaps is the most important thing of all in a political campaign. Keeping you opponent talking about what you want him to talk about. Keeping him on the defensive.

A winning campaign sets the tone and the agenda. To do it right you have to be mad. If you're not mad you don't know what's going on. And if you're not mad you don't attack. But at least you can live with yourself; yeah right. Then tell your supporters after all they're hard work that you're glad you stayed positive even though you lost. You can tell the the voters won. That's a great comfort. Yeah...

Just Who In The Hell is Going To Make Us Pay The National Debt?

This kind of goes with my series of how Democrats can win elections. And this idea should appeal to more than just the idiots.

Can anyone tell me for real just what's so bad about the national debt. It's 14 trillion. Th U.S. economy is worth over 60 trillion. I wish my debt to income percentage was that good.

We keep getting reminded of how much of our debt the Chinese own. Around ten percent. Big freaking deal. How are they going to collect it? We spend ten times more than they do on defense. Most of their technology is old stuff the stole from our industry anyway. I'm sure we know what they got and how to defeat it. And if they try a sneak attack to break our legs I think someone will see a hundred thousand boats sneaking the Chinese invasion force coming long before it gets past Guam. Screw em.

And that's the right message we need to be sending to the voting public. We're Number One dammit! Screw the Chinese, the effite Europeans and Russians too! If our debt ain't good enough for you then go loan your rubles and euros and yuans to the Gadhaffi you whiny bastards. Our currency is still, and always will be the world's reserve currency cause we're the best and you can kiss red, white and blue ass!

There. Just as Reagan gave us victory in Vietnam by declaring we won in Vietnam, Truth 101 has solved our debt problem and made America feel good about borrowing once again.

We Want Them; If We Can Keep Them In Line

In this second part of my series on how Democrats can win elections I want to expand on the kooks. Extreme pro life and nothing else matters, or anti gun no matter what, or commies and pinkos and anyone else who is disaffected because nobody pays him/her much heed to their personal issues.

The righties are experts at keeping their kooks in line. They keep their anger directed at the left. They create villains and bogeymen where there are none. And they are good at making money off of these kooks also. Gun sales went through the roof when Obama was elected president because these kooks were convinced by unfounded rumors that Obama was going to employ Black Muslims to confiscate everyone's guns. These nuts spend a fortune on tea bagger clothing and gear. TAO should have got into that line. Half the right wing bloggers are hawking "Don't Tread on Me" tshirts and buttons.

So we have to exploit our kooks through anger and fear as well. The left wing propaganda machine must keep the kooks convinced that republicans will take away all forms of public aid and anyone in need must give up their children and either join the military and go to Iraq, which they escalate if they regain the White House, or work as indentured servants for wealthy people who republicans believe deserve everything because they're wealthy and only through their benevolence does America exist.

The only downside of this plan is it will also rally the righties who think taking away poor people's children or making them work as virtual slaves for rich people are good ideas. But the righties are going to vote for righties no matter what so it's more important to keep our kooks scared, angry and VOTING for US.

The main thing standing in the way of this as a cohesive plan is the penchant for left leaning bloggers to hate being part of the fold. There are literally millions of us. We all want to be in charge. None of us want to be foot soldiers and beat the message boards and our blogs with talking points from the DNC or whoever's in charge. The righties have no problem doing the dirty work. Go to any message board and damn near word for word will be anti Obama comments. None of them with any facts or data. Just something about socialism and deficits. Virtually every right wing blogger says the same thing every day. They can take orders. Lefties can't. That has to change. Kooks don't care about links and facts. They're motivated by anger and fear. The left leaning candidate that convinces them he's angry as they are and exploits that fear and anger wins. The one that engages in high minded debate tells himself at least he was high minded and didn't sink to their level. He still lost and then the damn righties will continue their quest to turn us into a feudal society but thank God the sissy can look in the mirror. The sissy vote isn't very much. Most of them are to sissy to vote anyway. Housewives voted for Bush cause they thought he would keep us safe by killing "evildoers." Remember that. Women don't like terrorists either.

One Flew Over The Democratic Party's Nest

I was challenged the other day to post what I thought the Democrats had to do to win more elections. I think that would be better done as a series because there's more to it than the usual get out the vote and message that resonates crap I've heard since I was thirteen. Times have changed.

A big problem the Democratic Party faces now is Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, whatever those who vote Democrat want to call themselves, and the public in general, have no freaking idea what the Democratic Party is actually for anymore.

Democrats used to be for unions and working people. NAFTA drove millions of manufacturing jobs overseas. Clinton signed it into law. Unions have been begging for Card Check for years. They will keep begging until they're extinct because outside of a few like Anthony Wiener or Dennis Kucinich, there ain't many Democrats that will put themselves out there to even advocate for it.

Democrats used to be the party of minorities. Hell. Gay marriage is a civil rights issue in my book and President Obama wasn't even willing to say he was for it when he ran for Senate and President. He was for the politically safe term "civil union."

Anarchy and paranoia run rampant among the left. I get taken to task for having a gas guzzling Jeep Liberty by a left leaning friend every time I mention I have a gas guzzling Jeep Liberty. I've been beat up on by left leaning friends for getting on the President for not fighting harder for Democratic values in the name of "compromise." Even though I say at every opportunity how I will support President Obama in 2012. Self appointed liberal bigot police seek out anything they can imagine into racism even though it many times is just bad taste. I'm guilty of bad taste. I admit it. I'm not going to counseling.

Here's one of the things that republicans eat the Democrats lunch with. Using their kooks. Republicans have hordes of kooks. Wacko gun nuts. Bigots. Homophobes. Survivalists. Ayn Rand cultists. And every election they show up at the polls and vote republican. Our kooks stay home more often than not on election day. You have to exploit the kooks. You have to keep them angry enough at the opposition they don't look at you.

Don't believe me? You must have forgotten the Bush II presidency. The kooks all got out and voted for Bush II in 2000 and 2004. They were convinced Gore and Kerry would take their guns and abort their babies and put Castro in the Cabinet. They all ignored the big deficits and faltering economy under Bush II. Now they all remember and give us BS about how they didn't really like Bush II. But the truth is they can't face the fact they were dupes and voted for this idiot twice. But they will be kept angry in 2012 by lies about the Stimulus and Obama being Kenyan and Muslim and scary words like "socialism."

Targeted messages to each interest group are vital to a successful campaign. The Internet is a cheap and effective way to do this. Put a key word in a website title, say legalizing marijuana or something and the Google hits will come. Especially when a sympathetic reporter goes with the story. Then propagandize about how republicans want to outlaw sex for other than procreational purposes and their new bill has a provision for cameras in every bedroom and backseat in America to catch people showing pleasure during sex. Republicans have General Electric working on a scanner similar to airport scanners that do sperm counts to be sure men aren't ejaculating more than is required for fertilization purposes. Males will be required to walk through them every day. General Electric's taxes were forgiven for this. This was on the Internet. It must be true.

I'll save some more of my ideas for part II of this subject. The DNC is welcome to use anything it finds here. Which if the DNC had any sense, it would. When we get Congress back, then we can figure out how to get back to being the Party of Working Americans, small business, the weak and helpless, the little guy and minorities.

Mediocrity Means You're Overqualified To Run As A Republican

I admit that I've been tough on President Obama many times. I'm not sorry. He said hold his feet to the fire and in my little corner of Blogistan I've done so.

This also reminds me of how much liberals and progressives, you know, the people that really care about all America, not just the one that lives in gated communities, want from those we support and try so hard to believe in, like President Obama.

What's troubling is that the republicans don't demand anything of those they support but the ability to recite a few ignorant talking points. Hell, they don't even care if you're too dumb to remember "lower taxes, less government and lift spirits" if you write them down on your hand to read when stumped. Even mediocrity is discouraged among those that rule the republican party as being too effete and elitist. God forbid the republican base be asked to think.

If you think I'm wrong then look at the crop of republicans since Eisenhower. Nixon was smart, but dishonest as hell. He got credit for that. Ford acted folksy and simple but republicans knew he was smart and never liked him. Reagan was as clownish as they come. A perfect dupe. Just smile and talk about America being great and commies wanting to kill us and indoctrinate our children. Reagan learned this from the Queen Victoria. When the king wants action she said just close your eyes and think of England. Ronnie adapted this to his screwing of America with the spend and borrowing policy of reaganomics. While he was screwing America, he kept on looking to the horizon and saying "America."

BushI threw a little monkey wrench in the scheme of having dupes as republican presidents. He said "read my lips. No new taxes." Then raised taxes. He did a good job in the first Iraq War, but if it weren't for the stars being aligned perfectly in 1988 he would have lost his first presidential election.

Bush II is the culmination, till 2012, of the biggest shithead republicans could find to be president. Left the economy in ruins. Left two occupations without end. Left us with Guantanamo. No doubt, the worst president of this century. And this cycle of republicans choosing the biggest idiot they can to run for president will continue in 2012. But the worst thing about this is what it's done to the American Psyche. We're screwed folks. Great ideas, visions, programs, thoughts, leadership, example, hope, change, all the grand things America wanted in it's leaders have been shitcanned in favor of someone who's just literate enough to tell tea baggers and the like whatever bullshit they want to hear.

More People Don't Give A Shit. These Are The Ones The Democrats Need To Target

The big news from Wisconsin now is that a republican county clerk somehow forgot to press "enter" and enough votes to give the incumbent, Governor Walker backed judge a 7,500 vote lead instead of being 200 behind. This same county clerk was involved in a scam in which a handful of legislators took plea deals back in 2002. So much for republicans in Wisconsin demanding the highest ethical standards of their candidates.

But really, the bigger deal to me is not this crap, the big deal is despite all that's going on in Wisconsin. The press coverage. What's at stake for working families and the only organizations that actually fight to make their jobs and lives better, is that only 33 percent of Wisconsin voters voted.

Face it my fellow Liberals. Republicans have won the battle for the ignorant. Whether these people are truly ignorant or by choice to justify their bigotry, kooky religious zealotry or homophobia is a question only they can answer. But the fact is, idiots don't listen to John Stewart or Stephen Colbert or Rachel Maddow. (Yes, Stewart and Colbert are even more so the spokespeople of Progressive America than Maddow or even President Obama)

So that leaves a huge portion of the electorate that isn't listening to anyone. They're sitting on their asses, or partying or whatever, saying there's nobody worth voting for. The Democrats do the same crap the Republicans do. In a way, the repubs have more integrity if you take into account the main constituency they serve are the wealthy. The wealthy get all the perks while republicans make plans to cut Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. Programs the wealthy don't need. Democrats are tripping all over themselves to compromise this shit into reality, all the while claiming to be the party of Working People.

The cynic in me says the apathetic won't vote no matter what. A voter turnout of 60 percent is considered wonderful. I guess it is if your guy wins. And the reality is that the apathetic would probably vote republican anyway. The republican propaganda machine is so powerful that despite republican policy damn near destroying the economy in 2008, despite the fact that the Stimulus and Tarp saved it, republicans have many voting Americans convinced that we need to go back to the policies that almost drove our Nation into a depression and hating the programs which kept us out of one. I swear, if Dick Cheney was caught screwing a sheep in Central Park the republican propaganda machine would soon have their base convinced that Cheney is just a kind and gentle animal lover and Liberals want government to take away sheep's rights.

The only plan left that makes sense is for Obama to tank the 2012 election and let the republicans have everything so they can't blame others for all the misery they cause. I know this sounds, and is dangerous, but what else can we do? The voting electorate is almost evenly divided. We need a fresh republican screwing of America on the eve of election so their propaganda machine doesn't have time to spin. Working hard and donating time and money to get people to vote for progressives that for the most part, were going to vote for them whether we knocked on their doors or not, isn't working.

Rand Paul: 2012's Barack Obama?

For the most part, republicans choose their presidential candidates based on who's turn they think it is. I've been espousing this for years. 2012 I figured was Mitt Romney's year because it's his turn. Sadly for Mitt, a monkey wrench by the name of Rand Paul may be what derails his march and eventual landslide loss to President Obama in 2012.

Just like President Obama, Rand is a first term senator with limited national experience. Also, Rand knows what his audience wants to hear and gives it to them. The mantra of freedom and low taxes and less government with no explanation as to how to achieve all this while maintaining infrastructure and national defense and safe food and drugs and air rings well with those that believe thinking is for dead guys like Aristotle. That is for the ones that have any idea who Aristotle is.

Rand just electrified a crowd in Iowa with his simple message. They cheered Michele Bachman also but that was mostly because she was wearing a skirt the guys in the first twelve rows could look up.

Naughty past behavior really doesn't matter anymore. Womanizing, which I respect, helping your kid get off on a DUI charge or helping friends get jobs shows me anyway, that you're a good friend and concerned, if not lenient, parent. Ordering a chick to worship "Aqua Buddha" is no big deal. Let those among us who haven't knelt before the porcelain alter cast the first stone.

Mitt has 200 million dollars. He's going to spend a good portion of it trying to become the next president. He may want to budget an extra million or two as a bribe to keep Rand Paul from running in the primaries.

The Republican Dicks Shall Inherit The Earth

I've come to the brutal realization that life rewards the asshole. They always seem to end up in charge. Some shithead in a decision making position says we need to put this guy in charge cause he's an asshole. Or a republican gerrymandered districts elect someone like Michelle Bachman not because she's smart and well equipped to be a legislator, but because she's an asshole.

The end result is everything gets run by assholes. Even if they're in the minority, the overpowering stench of assholeness runs everything anyway. Washington DC is a supreme example of the power of asshole. The Supreme Court is run by five assholes. Don't let Chief Justice Roberts' smile fool you. He's smiling because he just ripped one in the face of America with another ruling favoring the rich and powerful.

The Senate is full of Republican assholes always ready to use the fart of silent holds of shit a fillibuster on any legislation beneficial to Working Americans.

The republican held Congress is working to defund the new health insurance law. Gut social programs. These assholes even want to take away the tax exempt status of AARP cause it supported health insurance reform. I've always said republicans hate old people. It's not that they don't want "death panels." They just want you to shut up and die so there's more money in the kitty for big government contracts for Halliburton and other defense contractors.

These jokers want to repeal environmental regulations even though the oil spill is still causing trouble in the Gulf of Mexico. Republicans hate Mexicans and this way they can shit on them without being accused of racism towards Mexicans. This does please bigots which is a large part of the republican voting base.

It is with all this in mind that I've decided instead of just railing against republicans, I should use their assholeness to make myself some money. Each time an environmental regulation is repealed, oil and energy company stock goes up. I'm buying BP. No doubt republicans will sneak something through that relieves BP of responsibility for Gulf cleanup. I look to hit a home run on this over the next year.

Halliburton is still good, as is GE which paid no taxes last year. I got some GE as soon as I read that and it's up. Plus it pays a dividend. Several small time oil exploration companies that employ a process known as "fracking" should do well under republican deregulation rule. Fracking screws up the groundwater but republicans don't care. This just means the stock I bought in bottled water companies will do well.

I get emails every day from sites like "Care to Petition" and Nancy Pelosi's and Joe Bidens pacs or whatever they are as well. I dutifully sent a couple donations of $5 to the group that's supporting Labor in Wisconsin so my conscience is clear.

Blackmail is now an accepted business practice. They blackmail communities and governments with threats of leaving for tax breaks and handouts and deregulations and whatever else they can get. Most of the time they win. Then many of them leave anyway and nothing is done about it. The only revenge we can get is to make money from their assholeness. Nothing pisses off a rightie more than a rich Liberal. They hate George Soros. They think he's guilty of treason to the fellow rich. They would have him executed if they could. But the republicans are a patient lot also. But once they get 60 votes in the Senate...

A Morally Depraved Exit Strategy

For all the talk about "exit strategy" for the life of me I don't think the phrase even existed before the Iraq invasion. It was an invention by some political strategist. Or perhaps a new use for a term nobody used. I'll let the historians educate us on that.

Now all the hypocrite republicans, and a few misguided Democrats are demanding to know President Obama's exit strategy from Libya. Hell, the only exit strategy us morally depraved guys ever had was an escape plan in case a husband came home early while we were boinking a FOX News hottie.

As for exit strategies elsewhere think about them. WWII was over 60 years ago. We still have troops in Japan and Europe. So much for that exit strategy. Still have troops in Korea. So much for that exit strategy. The only one that worked was Vietnam. We had enough and just left as Ron Paul has recommended as a good exit strategy. So it should go with Libya. Gadaffi is a dick and a terrorist. Bomb shit out of his strongholds and when we're tired of it, just leave. Mission accomplished.

Republicans in Congress, despite all that's going on; two occupations of countries that were no threat still going on after a decade. Crippling deficits and instead of asking everyone to share the sacrifice and pay more tax to catch up, they demand cutting funding of NPR. That'll make a difference. Jesus Christ.

Idiots demanding Planned Parenthood be defunded and disbanded thinking that teenagers won't have sex if someone from Planned Parenthood doesn't tell them how and they can't get rubbers. Hey you republican moralist assholes, teenagers know how to fuck already. They aren't going to Planned Parenthood asking how. And the rhythem method isn't very effective. But if you want teenagers to go to their priest and get an ovulation calendar will you shitheads help pay for that?

Why should I care? Hell, right now I care more that I can enjoy being morally depraved because of my sex. It's a status symbol for us guys to run around bragging about the hottie we debauched. But Heaven forbid the hottie brag about the hot guy with the big hunk of man meat she rode last night. I'm a stud. She's a slut. It's just not fair. And I'm for fairness and a level playing field. I just saw that former teen idol David Cassidy was the first one booted off Celebrity Apprentice. Not that I care about Celebrity Apprentice or David Cassidy. Although I would have gladly debauched his stepmother, Shirley Jones, back in the day.

What got me to to thinking about was how much good moral depravity David Cassidy could have enjoyed had he not been such a bitter asshole. Every time I saw him he was bitter about his lost childhood or some such nonsense. He was bitter about his hair or that nobody took him seriously as a musician. Hey shithead; nobody has been taken seriously since Bobby Kennedy was assassinated.

So David wasted his life being bitter because nobody wanted to hear him sing anything but "I Think I Love You." Millions of hot chicks would have gladly submitted themselves to any morally depraved whim he had and he chose to be angry because nobody wanted to hear him sing, um, hell, can't think of anything else he sang other than the Partridge Family opening song.

So David. Stop being bitter. See the light. There are millions of now middle age women that would still submit to whatever morally depraved whims you have. If you can't think of any I'll be glad to suggest a few. As the song says, "C'mon get happy!"

NPR Executive Forced To Quit For Telling Truth About Tea Party

Ron Schiller, senior vice president for fundraising for NPR somehow got himself wrangled into a meeting with phony Muslims. The meeting was secretly taped by noted sleazeball James O'Keefe.

At the meeting Schiller was taped saying the Tea Party was racist. NPR went ape shit with worry over how to deal with an honest man and Schiller resigned.

I guess that makes two places it's against company rules to speak the truth. National Public Radio and FOX News.

How can a republican not love Charlie. He gets 2 million per episode of his sitcom. He gets to keep more of it thanks to his Bush tax cut which was extended because poor millionaires like Charlie need the money to create jobs and trickle down on the rest of us.

Former republican governor Mark Sanford bragged about his Argentine hottie's "magnificent pair." Hell. Charlie has two "goddesses", both with a magnificent pair. And unlike republican David Vitter, he doesn't have an old lady at home he has to parade out and beg forgiveness from in public. Just like George Bush who believed being a republican meant never having to say you're sorry.

Newt Gingrich is thinking about a presidential run. He's a fatass and piker compared to Charlie Sheen. Charlie's enjoyed his tax cut way more than Newt and more people give a shit about what Charlie says and does than ever will about Newt.

The republicans will probably nominate some boring asshole for president in 2012. Bill Clinton proved sexual peccadillos don't matter. They do more good than harm. TRUTH FOR SALE

It was my intention to make the previous post the last one for Truth Shall Rule. The reasons I didn't delete or hide the blog were in case I pissed off TAO at Democracy Central and he fired me. And also to piss off the preacher that demanded I cease being Truth 101 because that's the moniker he wanted and I'd burn in Hell if I didn't relinquish it. All he had to do was ask. But seeing as how he was a prick I figured the fires of Hell were worth pissing this joker off. So Truth Shall Rule continues to take up space among Google Blogs.

That is until AOL sees the business opportunity before it. They just paid 315 million dollars for The Huffington Post. And gave Ariana Huffington a kick ass job. Shit. I'd put my essays up against anything ever written on Huffington Post. And because I'm not a greedy, corporate pig I would gladly sell Truth Shall Rule for a mere fraction of what sell out Ariana sold Huffington Post for.

Huffington Post got around 600,000 hits a day. My Neocon Lesbian Hottie Post got 6,000 and still gets looks every day so I figure I'd start the bidding for Truth Shall Rule at 30 million dollars and let the chips fall where they may. I know I'm selling too cheap but I don't want to have to pay more taxes like Joe the Plumber.

GOVERNOR GEORGE RYAN: LAW AND ORDER HAS GONE TOO FAR

While disgraced former Illinois Governor George Ryan sits in his jail cell his wife of 50 some years is on her death bead.

Governor Quinn isn't allowing George Ryan to see his wife. The judge handling the case isn't allowing George to see his wife. Ryan was allowed a two hour visit per prison rules last week.

Friends and enemies; this situation is crap. While Governor Ryan did abuse his power while in office, what did he do that 90% of the other politicians, Republican or Democrat, didn't do? Not a damn thing. He was loyal and asked those he was loyal to and aided help him in return.

George Ryan bucked the tough on crime no matter how much the innocent suffer trend and stopped Illinois from using the death penalty because innocent people were being executed. He's never been forgiven for that.

Ryan's two republican predecessors were partisans that hired mostly republican supporters while in office. I had no problem with that. At least one of them, Jim Thompson, is acting as Ryan's attorney at no cost the last I heard. That's good for Ryan because his pension was taken away after his conviction. But I've yet to hear Jim Edgar ask for clemency even though I would bet the farm that Ryan hired Edgar cronies as a favor while Edgar was governor and Ryan secretary of state.

An old lady is dying and her husband isn't allowed to spend her final days at her side because of politics. That's what this comes down to. An office holder or judge doesn't dare show some compassion because it will be used against him at election or retention time. Our process and Country has been reduced to ignorant talking points and 9 second sound bites. "He's soft on crime." "She's soft on terrorists." "He's a Muslim."

An old lady is dying. I guess the politically expedient thing to do is to send her a sympathy card saying "Screw you Grandma. We have an election to win."

I love days like this. Kids at school. Wife's at her job. I can follow the market all day without interuption.

Read the pre market opening news first then had as bowl of oatmeal. Drank first cup of coffee. Read more market stuff. Took shower and put on my lucky Turner Pocket T and got another cup of coffee. Saw that the Banco Santander I was sure hit it's low point so I bought some a couple days ago went down again. Got pissed. saw the Chinese company with the ticker sihi went down again despite all the rave reviews and how it's growing and has magnificent breasts so I sold before losing anymore.

BP and Cisco are up. AGNC is up. I'm selling at 29.25. I think mortgage reits are risky despite their big dividends. I'm up pretty good. What these bastards do when their price goes up they dilute it by flooding more shares in the market to raise cash. Dryships does that also. Damn Greeks. I sold Dryships last week after it spent a bunch of money on new tankers and did well. It kept going down and now it's on it's way back up. I don't trust it though. I found a couple other shipping companies that pay a 5% dividend and they were cheap as hell and looked safe so I bought them to teach Dryships a lesson. I'm sure their over in Greece sorry that they tried to mess with me.

VAYA CON DIOS TAO: REDEUX

TAO is not dead. His blog has once again been sent to Blog Heaven though. And though the good folks at Les' Rational Nation (Whom I've graciously put back on the link list of honor) are rejoicing, anyone of sound mind and true concern for our Nation's future should be sad.

TAO is an enigma. A successful businessman (I'm wearing one of his Turner T's as I write this. I did pay for it.) I never once heard him say anything derogatory about his employees or Labor in general. The typical business person I've come across usually has a "tough shit" attitude towards employees when it comes down to the bottom line. As if productivity and quality workmanship had nothing to do with profitability and success.

I've learned alot from reading TAO's blogs. I've tried to impart advice from him to my kids. And take some of his advice. Although my kids have been reticent, a couple of their friends have actually done what I told them TAO would do and I think they will do fine. Incredible how something you said that wasn't even directed at someone you've never met and probably never will can have an impact on someone that you would never think of. Degrees of separation or something.

If TAO chooses to stop blogging that's his business and he's a busy guy. Life will go on. I just think we are all better for TAO allowing so many of us to be a small part of his life. Have a great 2011 TAO and everyone.

One of my daughter's had a boyfriend that reminded me of Assange. Well read. Pompous. Spent hours reenacting Monte Python skits. He pissed me off. Five minutes was all I could stand to be around him. He went into his Holy Grail routine at Taco Bell once and I threatened to make his face look like my Taco Pizza if he didn't shut up. BIG GOVERNMENT: HELL YEAH! / NATIONAL SALES TAX? WHY NOT

Every day millions of people thank God for FDR and Social Security. Oddly, a percentage of these people are deluded tea baggers.

Millions of people thank God every day for Medicare. Millions would be in a position to retire now if Medicare was available to them but they have to wait till they're 65. Oddly, a percentage of these people are deluded tea baggers.

A commonly used, albeit discredited, phrase used by deluded righties is that government doesn't create jobs. They say this in spite of the fact that government investment created the microchip and semi conductor industries which employ millions world wide. Despite the fact that defense spending supports literally millions of jobs. Despite the fact that law enforcement employs millions.

Government investment in research is vital now more than ever. As big as Exxon or Conoco or General Electric are, they can't compete with a nation like China when it comes to investment. And China invests in it's business more than we do.

The solar industry is a good example. American solar companies are going bankrupt while China is investing in theirs. I just read that California is going with a Chinese solar company. General Electric is going into business with Russia.

Talking points do win elections. I've come up with a few one liners that made a difference. But they don't help our nation. Who doesn't want a tax cut? Sounds great until government has no money to invest in research and development that leads to thousands, if not millions of jobs being created. Or closer to home, streets in disrepair ands water mains and sewer lines leaking or plugged for weeks on end because budget cuts stretched personnel and equipment too thin to respond quickly.

Sometime next year President Obama and a few republicans will start discussing a national sales tax. For the most part everyone will rip on it as regressive or unfair or "not the right time" (God I hate that argument.)

But folks, something has to be done. We have to invest in our Nation and right now we don't have the money. Obama seems to have some clout once again and traditionally the third year of a president's term goes pretty well so I think his influence will be at it's peak. Hopefully he can work this to the benefit of all Americans and not just the wealthiest.

The real head of the republican party and real head of the Bush dynasty is Grandma Barbara.

The woman is the empress and that is that. Nobody dares run against her family unless they're ready to pay the price. Look what they did to McCain in 2000. He's still trying to make amends by hugging and kissing George W. and moving to the reactionary right. He even said he wasn't a maverick despite him and his goofball running mate Sarah Palin traveling the country saying they were just a couple of mavericks. "Refudiating" maverickism is code for "I'm sorry I ran against your boy Mrs. Bush. I shall kiss your ass until I'm dead."

Scooter Libby was Cheney's boy. Not W's. That's why he didn't get pardoned. He's lucky he didn't get sent to Gitmo although he would have if Barbara told W to send him.

We all remember the Iraq invasion. Remember how W was intent on getting Saddam because Saddam wanted to kill W's father? This wasn't about avenging Dad as much as it was about pleasing Mom. W was never so proud as the day they watched Saddam's hanging from the ranch in Crawford when Barbara patted him on the head and told him he was a good boy for making his mother so happy. Barbara bought George a pair of silk whitey tighies that had her name engraved in gold thread on the hiney that George still treasures.

Sarah Palin is now in Barbara's crosshairs. Barbara likes being the alpha republican female. Sarah is an upstart who needs to be put in her place. That place is back in Alaska as Barbara Bush recently said.

The word is that if Sarah runs for president she may virtually skip Iowa and focus on South Carolina. The same place the cabal ruined McCain. They will destroy Sarah. She will be called a slut. Whore. Mother of Bristol's two children. Lesbian. Anti Christ with a vagina and God knows what else Rove can think of at Barbara's behest. Sarah will then spend the rest of her life doing deeds to make amends with Barbara but Barbara never forgets. Sarah will suffer.

Barbara is no idiot. She knows that this next election there is a high likelihood Obama will be reelected. She will allow, at least I think now, Mitt Romney to get the republican nomination. It's Mitt's turn and because he'll lose in November of 2012 he will be no threat to the Bush Clan. Then in 2016 the push for Jeb Bush will begin. Barbara's main concern is staying alive to see this through. She's stubborn and has access to all the life prolonging treatments she wants so I don't see this as a problem. And she is one tough old bag. I respect that. And Heaven forbid she read this post and decide to punish me the way she punishes those that stand in the way of her family.

SICK OF CHRISTMAS LIBERAL

I hate any holiday that requires the exchange of gifts or the remembrance of anything.
Everywhere I go some well meaning joker as to remind me of "The reason for the Season." Up your's asshole. I've spent over a thousand freaking dollars on the reason for the season which is mostly to benefit Target, Kohls, Best Buy, Toys R Us and freaking Walmart. Oh yeah. Love Jesus too.

Birthdays suck. Especially when they're for a female. I suck at picking out gifts. I beg my better half to get something she likes and I don't care how much it costs. The worst thing you can hear your wife say is that it will be okay after observing the disappointed look on her face when opening another botched gift pick.

As God as my witness I swear I thought she would have loved the latest "Bathroom Reader" and combo flashlight/screwdriver. I suck and am totally unworthy. Screw you Hallmark. You bastards are the ones behind the misery that is Mother's Day, Valentines Day and birthdays anyway. Why can't the ladies in my life just be happy with me for the magic I possess?

I have to go to Mass Christmas Eve. Everyone in town will be at Mass Christmas Eve. I'll be crammed into the pew next to some lard ass that only goes to Mass twice a year yet still puts on the Elvis Presley holy facade like he's fooling baby Jesus. Go to hell you bastard. Stay at home and watch porn on the internet.

A bunch of damn carolers showed up last night. They serenaded me while I held the goddamn dog back with "Joy to the World" and "Gloria" They pissed me off cause it was cold and I was watching an episode of Ghosthunters I hadn't seen yet. They weren't that good. They we're going into their third song when I interrupted with $5 and asked if that was enough to make them go away.

What is it about me that people feel the need to sing to me and wish me Merry Christmas and proselytize anyway? Most of you know me on Facebook. There is nothing about the way I look that is in any way inviting or exudes niceness and sincerity. I am none of those things. I don't wish anyone a happy new year or merry Christmas.

I do however wish Republicans misery for both holidays. And I call on President Obama to make that happen. That would make my Christmas merry and New Year happy.

REPUBLICANS HATE FIREMEN AND CUBANS ACT OF 2010

In part two of my series on how to win America back from republican treachery I offer these suggestions.

Each piece of legislation must be titled to accurately reflect the hate and venom republicans feel toward anyone not a member of the wealthier class.

The republicans voted against The Dream Act. They of course pandered to the bigots and idiots, virtually all of whom are descendents of immigrants but hate Mexicans and Cubans. They especially hate the children of Mexicans and Cubans because they will grow up to be adult Mexicans and Cubans. So this act could be accurately titled the "Republicans Hate Children Act."

Most republicans voted against repeal of the despicable DADT. Of course the addlebrained Senator McCain led the charge. This could be used against republicans if presented correctly. We know that a big part of the republican base are homophobes. These kooks try and justify their bigotry through some twisted self view of patriotism. Love of country is demonstrated through hate of Gays or other groups of people whose life style or skin color they don't like.

The Democrats must tap into this voting bloc to gain veto proof majorities. We do this by villifying republicans for helping Gays dodge military service like Cheney did. WE call legislation acknowledging Gay Civil Rights as perhaps "Republicans Want To Protect Gay Americans From Getting Shot By Terrorists Act."

Republicans stopped the law helping 9/11 Responders. This is no shock. Republicans hate public employees other than republican policy making employees that serve the rich.
Republicans would just as soon privatize and outsource Police, Fire, Water, Sewer, Road Crews, Social Workers, Librarians and any other public service employee as piss on them. That's part of their ultimate goal. Not to lower taxes, but to get all public employees, this includes the Military. Republicans want to privatize the Military with Blackwater and Haliburton subsidiaries, so more tax dollars can go to corporate welfare such as contracts to Blackwater and Halliburton subsidiaries that privatized the military and police and fire departments.

To fight this we must label legislation that protects is beneficial and thanks those who put their lives on the line the "Republicans Hate Firemen Act."

I could go on and maybe the more serious minded among us think I'm being silly or sarcastic.

Remember this. We're all political knowledge whores. The vast majority of America are not. While we can read dozens of blogs and news sites and watch CNN or FOX if you're a righty, most people don't. Their attention span for this is short. Republicans understand this. Their answer is always a simple "lower taxes" or less government." They know, and so should the people that run the messages for the Democrats, that all the charts and facts in the world mean nothing if nobody wants to look at them.

You don't have to play hardball. The republicans need to know that we will though.
I have noticed the last week that things are starting to go our way. DADT is being repealed. Maybe Harry Reid let McConnell know that Democrats can hold up legislation also.

Maybe there is hope after all.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SAYS RAISING TAXES LOWERS TAXES

It's painfully obvious that President Obama and Congressional Democrats have no idea how to keep the Democratic Party from aiding the republicans in it's destruction.

Therefore, despite my low opinion of them now, I shall endeavor to save them.

Over the last decade or so, Democratic candidates began to think they could only win elections by acting like republicans. Unfortunately they also tried to govern like republicans. I'm not saying we can't learn from the republicans. They've taught us how to win elections as well as destroy the greatest middle class the world has ever known. Importantly though, they've taught us how to win elections with lies, misleads and bullshit.

Among the greatest piles of bullshit republicans excreted was U.S. Chamber of Commerce president Tom Donahoe saying outsourcing jobs overseas creates jobs. This is on par with the silly tax cuts lead to more tax revenue.

Incredibly, perhaps not really incredibly, the world is infested with idiots who's capacity to interpret that which by all logic is bullshit is good for them because phrases like "low taxes" or "less regulation" are included, a certain percentage of people buy into this nonsense.

My plan is to tap into the power of manipulating the shithead and do it better than Karl Rove. This starts with an ad campaign featuring a scary balding older white man standing before an image of the Twin Towers exploding and telling us tax hikes lower taxes and reduce government.

Then of course a program of personal destruction aimed at anyone that disagreed with our views. Keywords to apply vigorously against the enemies of Truth and Progressivism would include :Terrorist. America Hater. Extremist Nutjob. Blasphemer. Anti Christ. And the underrated yet always brutally effective; Whiny Pussy.

I may be angry and disappointed in the current state of the Democratic Party. But to just leave it without a fight would make me a "whiny pussy." If President Obama and David Axlerod choose to ignore my advice then they become the "whiny pussies' and my conscience is clear.

Then nobody can come crying to me like a whiny pussy.

GENERAL MOTORS PREFERS CHINESE WELDERS

I just read that General Motors is offering 2,000 skilled workers $60,000 to retire. The article said GM didn't need that many.

Forgive my cynicism but this in all reality sounds like the start of an outsource to Asia plan. I don't remember any Asian countries, unless you count the money we borrow from China, helping save General Motors. And while this does sound like a humane way to shed employees, I still can't see this as anything else but a ploy to ship more jobs to low wage workers in other countries.

If the election were held tomorrow I probably wouldn't bother voting because it seems most legislators could give a crap about the American Worker. We're the ones who are called on to sacrifice and do without. Wall Street bankers get their bonuses. Corporate fat cats get great health insurance and compensation packages that tax at lower rates than income taxes. They get spa memberships and months of vacation time while the ordinary worker gets a take it or leave it contract offer if he's lucky anymore. Then a lockout is orchestrated and the jobs, if they were union, get shipped to a right to scab state or overseas.

Ronald Reagan once said he didn't leave the Democratic Party. It left him. Of course he was full of crap. It was politically convenient for him to leave. Sadly, the Democratic Party followed him into corporate whoredom.

General Motors is safe for now. Soon it's big wigs will be getting their big bonuses and stock options. The government will have to do whatever it can to prop up GM's stock price so it doesn't look like it got shafted. More GM workers will be outsourced. The Chamber of Commerce will say that's good for America because it give business more power to pay less to the American Worker and more to the fat cats who fund the Chamber of Commerce.

Years ago I was pretty actively involved in politics. Workers always thought they had a friend and ally in the Democratic Party. We always felt we had friends at City Hall or the State House. We even "knew" our Congressman and believed he was fighting for us in Washington. Those same Congressmen will be voting for the budget busting, pander to the wealthiest and republican tax "comprimise" President Obama and the republicans presented.

Friends, I don't know how much longer I can continue blogging. My side is losing the battle. My side's leadership is helping the other side in the name of political expediency. I've played this game a long time. Republicans aren't going to vote for President Obama no matter how republican he acts. Every now and then a Democrat can pull that off in a red state like Ben Nelson. But it takes a strange set of circumstances like a sex scandal for a Democrat to win there.

I don't mind fighting the republicans. I'm wore out fighting Democrats.

JOHN EDWARDS WAS CORRECT

So often after a Democrat gets elected he turns from a fire and brimstone preacher of liberal values into a pandering sissy afraid that republicans will twist his beliefs into evils which scare idiots, bigots, religious zealots and homophobes.

Like it or not, the Democratic Party has the label of being the party of sissies and I do think it's deserved.

I am frankly sick of talking about President Obama's recent attempt at bipartisan comprimise by agreeing to whatever the republicans want in exchange for the votes of two useless shitheads named Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins. But the ongoing saga does show a major difference between the two parties.

Republicans will fight for their stuff. They will take the risks that need to be taken to move their agenda. Democrats won't.

John Edwards was asked a few years ago about voting for funding the occupation efforts in Iraq. He said he would vote no. When asked if it came up again he said he would vote no. And he would continue to vote no on them.

Edwards was willing to take the risk of Bush sending Troops into harms way without bullets to end the occupations.

The Tarp and Stimulus have been successful by all accounts. The government just made 12 billion on the sale of Citigroup sstock. The government bailed out GM and Chrysler to the chagrin of republicans who wanted them to die. The government will make a little on this perhaps. Even if it loses 20 billion think of the cost of not saving them. Dealerships closed. Parts suppliers closed. Probably over a million people losing their jobs. Huge properties that local governments wouldn't be collecting property tax on leading to more deficits. A million or more people lined up at the unemployment office for their two to three hundred a week unemployment check. Three hundred million a week going out. Republicans didn't care. The reality is nothing matters but the base and winning elections to them.

If nothing is done in Congress with the deal the President made then tax rates go back to Clinton Era rates. Wall Street will go down for a few days and republicans will call Obama a socialist. I don't care. They can call me a socialist if they want. But that would show the republicans and America that Democrats aren't afraid to do what's right. Stop the borrowing and tell America it's time we all chipped in.

I don't want a payroll tax holiday. My retirement has already been put off two years at least because of Social Security mismanagement. Keep the $14 a week and make sure the system is solvent forever. It won't make a shit bit of difference in my life. If it does in yours I suggest you buy Dave Ramsey's financial guide.

Republicans are consistent in that they are never willing to sacrifice their goodies. They want wars and big contracts for their benefactors and long prison sentences for crimes other than white collar republican ones. They just aren't willing to pay for all this. It's time they paid the piper. And if that means Wall Street fat cats will manipulate a second round of recession that's a risk I'm willing to take. If Obama and the Democratic leadership isn't willing to call the republican bluff and take that chance the republicans win again. But the average family will get an extra $14 a week and the pride of knowing half our political system is selfish, uncaring about America's fiscal well being and corrupt. And the other half is gutless.

OBAMA SHRUGGED

Republicans have long held that threats, blackmail and bribery are far better methods for success than hard work, integrity and getting up early.

They proved it once again with the deal President Obama capitulated to granting the wealthiest among us an extension of the Bush Tax Break for two years. Yeah. Like it will only be two years. That's one of the lies they told Obama to say to sell this to Congress and the People.

The republicans blackmailed the President with crap about a million jobs being lost if the rich didn't keep their tax cut. They threatened to stop unemployment benefits for people who haven't been able to find work for a long time. President Obama, instead of standing up to these blackmailing assholes, shrugged. He will be known in history books as the Great Appeaser.

The bone the republicans threw to Obama was the "payroll tax holiday" of two percent next year. They told Obama he could use the republican catch phrase about "more money in your pocket" to sell the deal which is just another republican hummer delivered to the collective wiener of the wealthiest among us. President Obama has been on the news acting angry. Much of his vitriol is aimed at Democrats that oppose this ridiculous, deficit exploding, suck off the rich deal he negotiated. Too bad the President didn't use that vitriol towards the republicans. The sad irony for President Obama is that republicans will still call him a high tax, liberal pinko in 2012. They don't give a rat's ass that he titillated the collective rich republican scrotum while McConnell, Boehner and the rest wrapped their lips around the shaft.

This has been a problem I've had with President Obama since the start.

I've had some experience in negotiations and tactics. What to look for. How to spot weakness. Knowing what your weakness is and keeping the opponent from spotting it. I thought when Obama picked Joe Biden as V.P. that Joe would have been able to coach the Administration in how to negotiate policy. Either Obama doesn't listen to Joe. Joe isn't talking. Or Joe doesn't know what he's doing either.

I've noticed this about Obama. He reaches out to the other side. That is a no no. That is always the last resort. The reason is, if your opponent comes to you then you're in control. Obama is not, and has never been in control.

Had Obama said screw this tax cut extension nonsense and moved on the republicans en masse would have been groveling at the front door of The White House begging President Obama for a bone. Instead, it was Obama that went to them and got the bone. Along with the rest of us.

I was in a discussion with a republican at Dave Dubya's fine blog (Linked on the side) over the Bush tax cuts. I say let em all expire. I'm more than happy to pay what I was paying before Bush savaged our Nation with his economic attack on good sense and responsibility. The republican of course chanted the republican mantra about tax cuts. The usual bullshit.

One of the old cliches right wingers say about people that want our Nation to become "A more perfect Union" as Thomas Jefferson wrote, is to tell us to "Love it or leave it!"

Republicans don't love America. They don't even think the freedom and way of life we enjoy is worth paying for. To them I say pay for it or leave you selfish bastards. Taxes are low in Haiti. Go there. I hear Walmart is coming soon.

IS JOHN McCAIN A CLOSET GAY?

Before anything else I offer the customary thanking of Senator McCain for his service to our Nation.

A common theme among many of the most virulent anti Gay dudes is their being closet Gays.

Ted Haggard. Jim Bakker. Larry Craig. The list goes on.

A man I never would have thought belonged on this list is Senator John McCain.

McCain is working his ass off to keep Gays from being allowed to serve in the military. He comes up with a new excuse every day as to why he thinks it's a bad idea. Of course all his idea are nuts. After hearing from the Secretary of Defense and other top brass and not hearing what he wanted to hear, McCain said he wanted to hear from enlisted personnel. Most of the enlisted personnel didn't care other than about half the Marines.

Today McCain said we couldn't end "Don't Ask. Don't Tell" because the economy is bad. How that's the fault of Gays McCain didn't say.

Our Armed Forces are charged with keeping America safe. Not just straight America. All America. All Americans should have the right to serve in our Armed Forces.

A couple months ago during a high level intellectual discussion on the The Voice of Independent Conservatism's Site, Rational Nation, (Link provided on the list) I was challenged by the well known and widely read Left Coast Rebel(Link also provided on the list) to a twenty dollar wager on the outcome of the Reid/Angle race for U.S. Senate. LCR said he was good for the money and being the beacon of integrity and supreme spiritual authority of Blogistan, as well as royalty, I accepted and guaranteed I was also good for the money.

Naturally I won the bet but as yet haven't heard from my friend from the right, Left Coast Rebel about arranging payment of my winnings.

I know LCR is a busy man with multiple daily posts. Operating his successful business. Keeping up with right wing talking points and videos to put on his site. Thinking up excuses for the mental lapses of Sarah Palin. Getting petitions to recall soon to be California Governor Jerry Brown for no other reason than his party is a bunch of bitter losers and Brown is a Democrat.

But still. A bet is a bet. And unlike my right leaning, ultra pro 2nd Amendment loving pal The Rattler of Snake on the Flag (Link provided on the link list) who wisely decided not to take me up on a Jerry Brown vs. Meg Whitman bet, LCR lost.

I shall be taking suggestions as what to do with my winnings. Perhaps a donation to MoveOn.Org in Left Coast Rebel's name would be nice.

TODD PALIN: WORKING MAN'S HERO!

Being the honest and humble chap I am, I am always ready to man up and admit when I am wrong. I was wrong about Todd Palin.

For two years I thought he must be a real numskull because I never heard a word out of him. Just goes to show you how true the old saying about the wise owl that never said anything was. Todd is wise beyond belief.

I probably should have Googled Todd but it's Thanksgiving and I didn't care. But to my knowledge Todd has never had any long term job. He goes hunting and drives snow machines and fishes and brings moose home for Sarah to make chili out of and waves to the crowds. Sarah has been the breadwinner for the family. Todd's job is apparently to look good and not grimace when Sarah says something ignorant like "Our North Korean allies."

Plus Sarah is not an uncomely woman. (We'd all entertain the notion. The straight guys anyway. If not, once again, go to Confession you liar) Todd git to sire her children.

Not bad work if you can get it. Especially now that Todd's old lady is a millionairess.

I'm thinking about growing a goatee and getting my wife into politics.

DOES PRESIDENT OBAMA EVEN HAVE A BASE?

President Bush always pandered to his base. He, at least Karl Rove knew, who made up his base. Bush made sure these was always something for them. Even if was bullshit about tax break that hugely favored the wealthy. The chumps were conditioned to think they were fine because they got crumbs and the only thing between them and starvation were benevolent rich people that provided them jobs.

President Obama doesn't have the luxury of a base because after two years. Countless polls and expert analysis, (I tend to agree with the late Mayor Daly who said "Duh experts. Whadda dey know?) I don't think anyone really has any idea just who makes up Obama's "base." Except me of course.

Just to be clear, in 2008 whomever the Democrats chose as their nominee was going to win. We could have run Mickey Mouse and he would have won. Both Clinton and Obama made grand speeches about workers and unions and health care. That appealed to the traditional base Democrat but there were millions who never voted in a primary that voted for Obama in this one. Something made them feel good about voting for Obama. As it was in the general election.

Republicans, at least the ones who run the republican party, are not stupid. They know republican policies will lead our nation to third world status. They don't care. The less the working class has the more the rich and powerful have. They know that creating bogeymen wins them elections. They know that the only base voter Obama has, or had, was the pissed off at Bush voter. Republicans have made their number one talking point to tell everyone Bush is gone. It's all Obama's fault. They are working to erode Obama's real base. People pissed off at the Bush presidency.

President Obama has a nasty habit of caving to the right in the name of bipartisanship or compromise. Independents are just as partisan as the rest of us. They don't want compromise and pandering. They want action and results just like anyone on the left or right. What the Obama base voter wants is to stick it to Bush. Repeal Bush's tax cuts. Get us the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Repeal DADT. Close Gitmo. Investigate Cheney and all his men.

Bush pissed off a Nation. Run against "low taxes and less government" in 2012 and Obama will lose. Run against Bush, Obama wins in a landslide. So do the rest of the Democrats. But don't listen to me. I'm no expert.

WELL IT'S ONE, TWO, THREE; WHAT AM I FIGHTIN FOR?

Our Nation's track record in wars has been pretty good. We won the Revolution. Ended up in a tie in The War of 1812. I guess we won The Civil War cause the Stars and Stripes is still our flag. Kicked shit out of Spain. Was on the winning side in WWI and II. Korea was a tie but considering that China is closer to our friend than battlefield enemy now there's a case for us winning that War. Same thing with Vietnam. We were victorious in the Cold War but I really don't think it ever really ended for the Ruskies. They're playing a decades long version of "rope a dope" I think. Reagan did defeat the mighty forces of Grenada though. We trounced Saddam twice. The Iraq War was won by our Troops in about two weeks. It's the occupation that's wearing us down. As it is in Afghanistan.

While this record is impressive, if you add in the wars we've failed in thus far, our record is a little better than mediocre. We've been losing the War on Poverty since it was declared. The War on Drugs hasn't gotten very far. Neither has the War on Hunger. Some of these wars are being lost because they are victims of the republican war on intelligence.

There are many fronts to this secret war on American progress. The war on science waged by the right is a good example. They deny climate change. They deny evolution. They deny that our planet is more than 6,000 years old.

The right insults our intelligence with their embracement of Sarah Palin as presidential material. Their weapons are radio and talk show hosts on FOX News Networks.

They are so ridiculously obedient to their lies subservient to their leaders and celebrities that incredibly thousands of them are making up fake email addresses to keep Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. These kooks will stop at nothing if they think it will serve their darling Sarah and the right wing cause.

Several have commented recently about how it's not the Glenn Becks or Limbaughs that scare them. But the hoards of people that buy into their hate filled nonsense. While that concerns me as well, what is scary is the effect it's having on my friends on the Left.

We don't have a coherent message or even coherent leadership. I don't remember the last time I saw Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine. I see more of Ralph Nader. Half of us hate Pelosi and Reid. Half my local union members are anti union. And this is President Obama's base?

I had a blog that did far more traffic than this one for a couple years. It mostly followed local politics. I would be told off the record by Democrats that they loved it. I'd ask them to help me out in my fights with righties by leaving a comment. Most of them said "Oh no. I don't want to do that." I couldn't even get anyone to write letters to the editor for our candidates. "Oh no. I don't want to do that." Getting more than the old 70 or 80 loyalists to come to a freaking five dollar fundraiser was hell. And Christ knows how many government employees spoke against the very office holders they were hired under.

A blog is a good thing for intellectual release. I'll get close to 200 individual hits within 24 hours of posting this. It will generate between a dozen and 40 comments. A half dozen people that look at it will be right leaning. Nobody's mind will be changed.

Bristol Palin's next dance will be viewed by 20 million people. The show's hosts will talk about how Sarah must be proud and Sarah will talk about freedom and mama grizzlies and low taxes. Her tea bagging public will be agog at her massive "One of us" intellect and write letters to the editor and put Tea Baggers for Palin bumper stickers on their cars. While this is going on, and President Obama is fighting the republicans and his own party trying to straighten out the mess the republicans left in the first place, the Silent Left will not be writing any letters. They won't be putting Obama/2012 bumper stickers on their cars. They won't be sending $10 to the DNC.

They will sit on the sidelines because they "don't want to do that." And when the republicans take back the White House, not that they need to. It's convenient for them to screw things up and make sure the rich get richer and have Obama to blame even though they've rendered him impotent, the silent Lefty will be angry because nobody did anything to stop this.

And these are the people I'm fighting for?

I'LL TAKE A FLAWED CHARLIE RANGLE OVER JUST ABOUT ANY REPUBLICAN

As expected, Congressman Charles Rangle was found guilty of lots of stuff. And of course his judgement in these matters was bad and he deserves his censure, or he perhaps should resign. I haven't thought about it that much.

Here's what I do know. Rangle will be paraded in front of Congress and like the camera hogging bunch of hypocrites most of them are, Rangle will be lectured and vilified.

Charlie Rangle is a legitimate war hero. He joined the Army in 1948. He went to Korea and actually fought. He is the embodiment of the American Dream. Made more difficult to achieve because of the color of his skin. He graduated law school. He worked his way up becoming a U.S. Attorney. He was elected to Congress. He made it all the way to Chairman of Ways and Means. One of the most powerful posts on Capital Hill.

He used his position to fight drugs. He helped countless numbers of people who had nowhere to go get help.

I'm not saying his story and service should give Congressman Rangle a pass for his transgressions. He says he never personally benefited. I take a Veteran and war hero at his word. But there is no way Congressman Rangle deserves to be lectured on morals or law or the Ten Commandments and service and honor or any other high minded crap his lecturers would lecture him on.

My state of Illinois just elected Mark Kirk our next Senator. The same Mark Kirk that lied about a military honor he said he won. A chump like this has no business lecturing a war hero.

Illinois Congressman John Shimkus, who sat on his ass doing nothing as the guy in charge of the Congressional Page Program while Mark Kirk was looking for Pages to butt to fuck, has no business lecturing a war hero. Or the morally bereft adulterer David Vitter from Louisiana.

Tomorrow the news will have footage of a bunch of self righteous hypocritical assholes piling on Congressman Charlie Rangle. I hope Charlie reads my friend TAO's "Corrupting Conservatives." I hope Rangle tells every one of the assholes that rips him what TAO told the idiot from Newt Gingrich's operation.

GEORGE BUSH SCREWED US SO GOOD WE WANT MORE

Okay folks. I'm ticked that President Obama wasn't able to get us out of unending occupations. Deliver single payer universal health care. Stop the despicable DADT. End hunger and poverty and bigotry. Throw scumbag republicans like Rove and Cheney in jail where they belong. Etc.

Today I read that George Soros thinks we should donate money to liberal causes and not to President Obama. Many in our community are unabashed in their disdain for him.

If anyone remembers, two years into Reagans first term he was unpopular also. And Obama has had to deal with a hell of a lot more shit than Reagan. Reagan's people even had to put out propaganda asking everyone to "stay the course." A big difference is Reagan didn't have to deal with shitheads like Mitch McConnell and John Boehner. He didn't have the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and it's unlimited amount of money which it spends on attack ads, attacking Obama for the stimulus which it supported.

John F. Kennedy struggled his first two years in office. He got things straightened out.

Obama deserves a chance to straighten things out. That doesn't mean we don't keep his feet to the fire. Lord knows I've hammered the President for being too soft on righty. It means we don't abandon him and give the presidency back to whatever tea bagging kook the republicans choose in 2012. Bush gave us a good screwing for eight years. That's plenty.

If somebody thinks staying home for the 2012 elections will show Obama and the Democrats a thing or two all I can say is lube up now. Republicans are stroking up a massive erection for you. Was the screwing Bush gave us that good that we want some more?

LORD TRUTH 101: DEFENDER OR THE POOR AND HELPLESS

My older sister recently informed after extensive genealogical research that my family is of royal blood. So henceforth, I shall be known as Lord Truth 101: Defender Of The Poor And Helpless.

The attacks of right wing fools of more humble lineage shall not deter The Lord Of Truth from his sacred calling to further expose their evil, greed and chicanery. My mission shall be similar to that of Sir Robin of Loxley (Robin Hood) only I shall advocate taxing the rich who benefit far more than the poor and middle class from the largess of the Realm.

Do not treat me any differently my friends. Just because I am of royal blood doesn't mean I shan't mingle with the common men and women who cry out for a government that serves them rather than the rich and powerful. While I may be a Lord now, I am still the servant of the People.
