The die has been cast. The matriarch of the Bush Clan, Ms. Barbara, has set the wheel in motion. Karl Rove has been dispatched to brutalize all that stand in the way of another fruit of her loins to the presidency.
The world believed the Bush dynasty was destroyed by the failed presidency of George W. But the propaganda has done it's job. Romney has been destroyed. Paul and Bachman and Perry have been destroyed. Gingrich will soon be destroyed. Donald Trump could only get Huntsman who didn't need to be destroyed as he was a mere fly on the great wall to the Bush clan, has been rendered impotent.The propaganda of hate towards anyone not white or subservient to white has done it's job. The country has forgotten the mess Bush left. Almost half are going to vote republican no matter what. Disarray among Democrats is rampant and will cause many to stay home of vote for Ron Paul or Ralph Nader in protest. Karl Rove has served his masters well.
A divided country and divided Democratic Party paves the way for another Bush. Jeb Bush. Republican nominee by acclimation at the 2012 republican convention.

This is exactly what I've been thinking since the whole Republican nomination sideshow began. A frightening thought, but then this is a devious bunch...Rove, et al.
No. Jeb will wait until 2016. There is no reason to jump in now and take the chance on losing to a sitting President. 2012 will repudiate the republican right-wing nuts and Jeb will come flying in to save the day...the day in 2016.

we have always been a nation divided by one major issue or another. division is a hallmark of any and every nation. the only difference being is that nations that use the democratic system cannot hide that division.

We have big troubles Griper. Division on issues like tax or social policy are used to enrich the wealthiest. You don't need a mandate. As Rove showed, you only need 50% plus one vote.
And Bush and Rove showed us how to get an agenda passed without super majorities. A lesson Obama and his team didn't learn.
